00:00So can Unitary keep up its momentum after such a dazzling debut?
00:04Lian Jisoo is Chief Analyst at Omdia.
00:08Fundamentally, we are judging a company not just based on their past performances,
00:13but also sort of calculated assumption of their office future.
00:18And unless you are sort of an investor that has enough, let's say,
00:24experiences in evaluating all these companies sort of across different sectors
00:29and you have seen the boom and busts of all these different tech companies coming out of China,
00:35you don't really have that experience in making the right judgment call.
00:39And in this case, I do believe that if we give the Unitary share enough time,
00:45it will fall back to sort of like, quote unquote, the mean,
00:48and which means that it will in the long run reflect,
00:50that the share price in the long run will reflect the true value of the company.
00:55Now, these robots that have captured everyone's attention with backflips and kung fu displays,
01:01how far away are they from doing real useful work on factory floors?
01:07We are still a little bit far away from the robots going into factory floors,
01:13doing sort of a reputative task that previously only humans can do.
01:17And we are really, really far away from robots doing actual stuff in domestic setting,
01:23in environment where it's designed squarely for humans.
01:28It's an environment that is highly unstructured and will require the robots to make multiple judgments
01:34that previously only reserved to humans.
01:37Now, robotics, it isn't just about humanoids, even though those are what grab our attention.
01:43Where do you think the real growth story here is in the sector more broadly?
01:49We are seeing sort of a surge in robotics adoption across the board.
01:55So we are seeing the adoption of more and more industrial arm robots.
01:59So basically robots that are stationary, that are designed to execute on a specific task
02:06with incredible speed and precision.
02:09And those robots are rolling out in multiple factories, not just in consumer goods,
02:14but also in precision engineering, in automotive production line, in heavy machinery production lines.
02:21Other than that, we are seeing mobile robots being adopted across the board.
02:25So be it AGVs or AMR, they are being rolled out on factory floors, in warehouses,
02:31in very complex scenarios where it requires the robots to navigate and sort of perform obstacle avoidance
02:39to work alongside human and sort of being able to execute tasks by doing material handling
02:45or sort of moving things from point A to point B.
02:48I think lastly, we are also seeing a surge in consumer robotics,
02:53particularly in the human, in the sort of the home vacuum cleaning markets.
03:00If you look at the recent SEC ban, there is a very specific ban on sort of Chinese home cleaning
03:08markets,
03:08home cleaning robots being sort of being shipped into the U.S. market.
03:13And that kind of tells you that Chinese brands in this market, such as EcoVet and Roborock,
03:19are doing really well in capturing the home vacuum markets from its competitors.
