00:03other things to ask for cyber crime
00:04For example, a lot of people are interested in cyber crime
00:06But in the case of police
00:06they are very busy
00:07and then put them in the police
00:09after that, they are interested in the cyber crime
00:12and they are not interested in the police
00:16and they are interested in the police
00:18and they are interested in cyber crime
00:18police are interested in this
00:20So we will give you an update
00:21in the first time in the first time
00:23we have to review the J.P. Connect
00:25that to Bangalore
00:28I am the founder of Pragadish Gurumurthy and I am the Matladi E-Marini.
00:36So, hi Pragadish Garu, how are you doing?
00:38Yeah, very good morning.
00:40So, thank you for inviting me to like this interview.
00:43So, I am going to go.
00:45Actually, what if I ask you who is Pragadish Gurumurthy
00:48and what are your roots and your educational qualification
00:51and what is the main motto behind starting it?
00:53So, as you guys know, myself, Pragadish Gurumurthy and I am a founder of Zepic Company
00:59and I have been running multiple, few startups called like Howl AI Private Limited for the AALLM models
01:04and I have been running communities in Bangalore for the hackers and the cybersecurity people called Boundtechs.
01:10So, we innovated the CCR18 like two years back and we are looking to women's safety and security this year.
01:16And apart from that, I have been recognized in the world records as the youngest to start up a cybersecurity
01:22company.
01:23So, I have been praised by the Tamil Nadu government and I have been worked as like cyber forensics examiner
01:29in the Indian income tax department for a few cases.
01:32And also, I have been worked as like a cybercrime investigator and cybercrime advisor for the Tamil Nadu government for
01:37a couple of cases.
01:38And I am happy to tell that I have been like involved in more than 100 plus cases to assist
01:42the police with like solutions.
01:45And also, like apart from that, I am like a web developer, app developer and I am like a cybersecurity
01:49engineer.
01:50And also, I have been like building AI models and like training them.
01:53So, this is what like about me.
01:55So, as of my like qualifications, I have done like BE, IoT and cybersecurity with blockchain technology.
02:01And like the fun part is like I started all the cybersecurity things before I entered into my college.
02:07I started all this when I was in like a first BU.
02:10So, what motivated you to do this?
02:12See, basically, I am a backbencher, you know, like how the backbencher has been like treated in the schools.
02:18So, for me, like computer is one of like greatest thing I have like learnt of.
02:23See, I didn't go voluntarily.
02:25Like my sister used to go for computer classes.
02:27I just go along with her to see what exactly this computer is doing.
02:31Like I learnt paint.
02:32So, when I was in like 8th and 9th grade, I was going to the computer classes.
02:36I started like liking the computer so much.
02:38So, I learnt, I completed the DCA, HDC courses and all when I was in the 9th standard.
02:45So, later I, when I like start like doing more courses and learning more Python, like programming stuff.
02:50I was much more interested into robotics and automation.
02:53I was like a huge, like inspired by the Dr. APJ Abdul-Khulam sir.
02:57So, I've been like building robotics and automation and everything when I was in the 9th and 10th grade.
03:02I used to go for like a national exhibition competition and all.
03:07So, once when I was like exhibiting my products, someone like asked me, why don't you use Raspberry Pi?
03:12That is the first time like I heard some word about like some ticker.
03:16So, that is the starting point when like Raspberry Pi got like evolved.
03:19So, I started learning what is a Raspberry Pi?
03:21What does this do?
03:22It's like, that is a word mentioned.
03:24It can be used for hacking and cybersecurity purpose.
03:27So, that one word triggered me.
03:28What is cybersecurity?
03:29What is hacking?
03:30So, when I start learning, you know, it made me curious to learn for like more than 3-4 years.
03:34I started learning about the cybersecurity and like hacking.
03:37So, that is how I started and here.
03:39Cyber Crisis Response Agency.
03:40What is Cyber Crisis Response Agency and what was the motto behind it?
03:45See, Cyber Crisis Response Agency is one of the team.
03:47It's not actually a company or like organization.
03:50We started as a team like two years back.
03:52So, we've been investigating all the dark web, like dark web crimes.
03:56Like for example, to take example of like the fake like passports, fake documents, face ID and these kind of
04:04things.
04:04We started investigating two years back as my own stuff.
04:08So, later what happened like I started documenting everything.
04:10What happening in the dark web?
04:11What exactly these crimes are happening?
04:13How the crimes are happening?
04:14And make a document and send it to the required government and like people.
04:18So, it will be helpful for them like how exactly these methods are working.
04:22So, they will be like trying to prevent those kind of stuff.
04:26So, let like also I've been working on like with Tamil Nadu government as a cyber crime advisor on the
04:31right.
04:31So, it will be easy for me to like understand how exactly the crime is happening.
04:35So, when they're coming up with some crime in the crime report, I look at this is how this happened.
04:39So, this is what they have discussed over there.
04:41So, like it will be like that.
04:43So, like that how like we started the CCRA team into like full-fledged organization now.
04:48So, now we've been like working on women's safety and security as a main priority.
04:52So, we got like few cases in like last couple of months.
04:55So, instead of like doing it manually, we thought like why not to like create an automatic solution for that.
05:01That helps everyone like once, once immediately like they register the company immediately that case has been started.
05:11So, actually what is this innovation and how it works from all other things.
05:16Okay. So, this particular CCRA, so we've been getting couple of cases from last few months.
05:22Because basically under like women's safety and like security, people photos and videos are getting leaked all over the internet.
05:29And like there is like a delay deleting all the photos from the internet.
05:34So, we took this case and we investigated and we start solving the cases.
05:37And lately, we got an idea of something like why not to like automate everything.
05:42For example, people says like I gave this information to the cybercrime producers.
05:47I gave the link everything.
05:48But only that from particular website the video has been written.
05:51Not from all the like after like few days the video is spread to multiple websites.
05:56So, see the even the cybercrime like works in the same procedure like standard of operating procedures.
06:01So, if you're like telling the police like my video has been leaked.
06:04So, you have to give them the exact link and which platform the video has been leaked.
06:07Right. So, same thing.
06:09And they can able to like take the traces of the link and they'll remove those.
06:12So, after a few days that criminals like they start uploading the multiple websites.
06:16So, we understood this pattern and we thought of why not to like automate our solution to like scan the
06:21entire internet.
06:22So, like scan where and all these videos and photos have been shared.
06:26And like to remove those kind of things.
06:28So, that's why we build a you know CCRA like automation stuff.
06:32So, once you like put the video source and it will automatically scan the entire website.
06:35And it will give you the list of website that this video has been like leaked on.
06:40As of now so far, what are the success stories that you have created?
06:45Yeah, so far like as I said like I received a world record holder for a English to start up
06:50company.
06:50That is one of the things.
06:51So far, I have been like assist with assist for like more than 100 plus cyberpunk cases.
06:56Yeah, as I'm like I have completed web development, web development thing.
07:02And I have trained more than like 7,000 plus students in cyber security and like web application testing.
07:08And also like I've been giving free awareness for the students for like last five, six years.
07:13And apart from that, I said like I've been working with the complex department also.
07:17That I feel like one of the greatest achievement for me.
07:19And we've been working on couple of more projects with other countries also.
07:24So, that's yet to come.
07:25So, whatever I have achieved so far, this is like I see that as a just a step one.
07:30So, we had to like we have long step to go ahead.
07:32If I am a victim of cyber things, so what should I do to get benefit from cyber crisis response
07:40agency?
07:41So, what is that?
07:42Please explain step by step.
07:44It's basically like cyber crisis response agency works in two ways.
07:47One is like our own investigation thing and like other things like this private like women's safety and security thing.
07:53So, women's safety and security obviously had to register police complaint.
07:57So, mostly like we get cases from police side and also like we take private cases also.
08:01So, first thing you had to register a formal fair copy and you had to inform this kind of thing
08:06has been leaked.
08:07So, like other than that you can inform to us also.
08:10So, you can just tell us like this kind of even happened.
08:12This is what the video source are.
08:14This is where it started.
08:15So, once after you like inform us, we take a necessary action on the same day itself.
08:19We scan the entire internet and we'll take out all the details and traces where this video has been leaked
08:25and how like what stamp, timestamp, like which website started uploading it first from where the video has been spread.
08:31So, we take out all the details and we start removing on the day itself within 24 hours.
08:36So, our tracker card is like within 24 hours, we have more than like 500 plus videos from all over
08:41the internet.
08:41So, that was like we can act within like some different, as soon as possible if you like report, like
08:47we can able to like take action as soon as possible.
08:50While baiting this cyber crisis response agent, see what are the obstacles that you have faced and how did you
08:57overcome that?
08:57See, basically like building is like very easy for us because like we are like we have a huge expert
09:03team in like software development in Zpika.
09:05So, developing software is not a major problem for us.
09:08But, searching these videos and like, for example, like if the video is getting leaked in the all over the
09:14internet, there is two ways or like multiple ways.
09:16One is like website and other ones are private channels.
09:19So, private channels, for example, there are multiple private channels are active in the telegram groups and like Discord and
09:25this kind of groups are that like share this kind of video.
09:28We don't know like whether these videos are leaked in like telegram or not.
09:31So, that is the major struggle we had like while we are doing this application.
09:37So, later we found out like how to like scan those also like that will be like great.
09:42So, now someone upload any video but no matter like which platform it is, we can able to trace everything
09:47and we can remove it.
09:48Thank you. Thank you so much for joining us and all the best at that note.
09:51Thank you so much for like inviting me. Thank you for that team.
09:54So, this is the first part of Prakadish Gurumurthi Chapter 20.
09:57We wish you all.
