00:00:09I'm Vanessa Winston.
00:00:11Tonight is my 28th birthday.
00:00:14All my life, I truly believed I was the luckiest woman in the world
00:00:18because I had three guardian angels who loved me so completely.
00:00:23Happy birthday, Vanessa.
00:00:27That's my husband, Cole Lockwood.
00:00:30A legend in the courtroom, they call him the devil of the bar.
00:00:34But, but this so-called devil keeps all his tenderness just for me.
00:00:43And my best friend and childhood sweetheart, Gabe Reed, to protect me,
00:00:48he pushed himself to ace every exam and became the youngest detective in the history of the force.
00:00:56Vanessa!
00:00:57And last, but the most precious of all, my little sister, Anna Windsor.
00:01:03She always had such a natural talent for management, so that I could chase my dreams in the arts.
00:01:09She stepped in and took over the entire Windsor business right after she graduated.
00:01:16I thought my life would stay this happy forever.
00:01:21But, everything fell apart in a way I never could have imagined.
00:01:26My sister, Anna, was murdered on my birthday.
00:01:30Anna!
00:01:34Don't scare me like this.
00:01:36I've got you.
00:01:39Wake up.
00:01:41Please, wake up.
00:02:09He killed my sister!
00:02:12He killed my sister!
00:02:13He killed my sister!
00:02:13He's the murderer!
00:02:14I want him dead!
00:02:16No!
00:02:17I want him dead!
00:02:29The murderer was caught on the spot.
00:02:31The evidence was undeniable.
00:02:33The people, the people I trusted, were all here.
00:02:37But I never saw it coming.
00:02:40To date, none of Mr. Pierce's DNA has been found on the victim, Anna Windsor.
00:02:46Therefore, Your Honor, the defense requests that Richard Pierce be found not guilty.
00:02:52No, no, no!
00:02:53The evidence is insufficient.
00:02:55This court hereby declares Richard Pierce not guilty.
00:02:58He is free to go.
00:03:00No.
00:03:02No!
00:03:09Cole, you're my husband!
00:03:12Anna was your sister, too!
00:03:14How dare you defend the man who killed her!
00:03:17Vanessa, stop.
00:03:19This is a court move.
00:03:20They'll hold you in contempt.
00:03:21How can I calm down?
00:03:23My husband defended my sister's murderer!
00:03:25I screamed for answers.
00:03:28But Gabe Reed dragged me out before I could get a single one.
00:03:32And they did all of this for one reason.
00:03:35The killer was Madison's brother.
00:03:41No!
00:03:55Honey, this is a mutual release and non-prosecution agreement.
00:03:59Sign it.
00:04:00Knowledge, Richard Pierce Innocence.
00:04:01This ends today.
00:04:09Vanessa, this ends here.
00:04:11No charges, no charges, no claims, no future accusations.
00:04:17From today on, Anna's death was nothing but an accident.
00:04:26An accident?
00:04:28You saw the autopsy!
00:04:31Anna was stabbed 19 times!
00:04:3419, Cole!
00:04:36Do you have any idea how much she suffered?
00:04:40How terrified she was?
00:04:42You call that an accident?
00:04:44Do you even have a heart?
00:04:50Why are you doing this?
00:04:52What spell did she cast to make you protect her family like this?
00:04:56Vanessa, if I had known her brother would kill my sister, I never would have let her into my home
00:05:01as a maid!
00:05:06Vanessa, stop acting like a child!
00:05:10Three years ago, during that hiking trip, Cole and I fell off a cliff.
00:05:13If Madison hadn't dragged us out, we'd be dead!
00:05:16Madison shattered her arm, saving us.
00:05:19All she's asking now is that we protect the only family she has left.
00:05:24We owe her!
00:05:26You're saying, she saved you?
00:05:38Found you.
00:05:39Finally.
00:05:40You're safe now.
00:05:46Rich kids coming out here for thrills again?
00:05:49Dying in the woods is what they deserve.
00:05:55Guess this is my lucky day.
00:06:02Was it you?
00:06:04Did you save us?
00:06:05They're loaded.
00:06:06Maybe they could change my life.
00:06:08Yes, I saved you.
00:06:10I was the one who saved you!
00:06:12It was me!
00:06:13That snake lied to you!
00:06:16Enough!
00:06:20You were going to hit me for her?
00:06:24Vanessa, when Cole and I woke up, the first person we saw was Madison.
00:06:29And now you're twisting the story?
00:06:32Vanessa, Gabe and I owe Madison our lives.
00:06:36And you, as the woman we cherish, should stand with us, not against us.
00:06:45Sweetie, just sign it, okay?
00:06:47Sign it, and this all ends.
00:06:50Gabe and I will still treat you like our princess.
00:06:55I'm not signing anything.
00:06:59Her brother killed my sister.
00:07:02He will pay for it.
00:07:09Ma'am, I know how you see me.
00:07:12My brother and I, we're nothing.
00:07:15Our lives mean nothing to someone like you.
00:07:18If someone has to die for your sister, let it be me.
00:07:22Madison!
00:07:26Madison, stop.
00:07:27Don't do this to yourself.
00:07:30Vanessa, how can you be so cold?
00:07:33You just stand there while she's on her knees?
00:07:35It's fine, Gabe.
00:07:37Vanessa's a princess.
00:07:38Our lives aren't worth much to people like her.
00:07:41Enough!
00:07:41You will sign it.
00:07:43I've already spoken to the top firms in the country.
00:07:45Even if you refuse, no lawyer will ever take your case again.
00:07:55You, listen to me.
00:07:58I am Vanessa Wensington.
00:08:02I will have justice for my sister's murder.
00:08:05I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:08:14I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:08:19How could she do that?
00:08:22It's one thing if she hates me, but hitting you?
00:08:25That's too much.
00:08:27Don't touch me!
00:08:29Vanessa's my wife!
00:08:30You don't get to judge her!
00:08:31Hey, it's okay.
00:08:33Go home.
00:08:34I'll talk to Cole.
00:08:41Cole, I know you're upset.
00:08:43But you can't treat Madison like that.
00:08:45She nearly lost her arm saving us.
00:08:47You think I wanted this case?
00:08:48She hadn't saved me!
00:08:50I would have never touched it!
00:08:54Anna was our sister too.
00:08:55I know.
00:08:56But what choice do we have?
00:08:58We owe Madison our lives.
00:09:00Once this blows over, we'll put Vanessa back where she belongs.
00:09:04She'll still be our princess.
00:09:05She loves us.
00:09:06She'll forgive us.
00:09:07Did we really do the right thing?
00:09:09There's no turning back now.
00:09:10Shutting this case down quickly is what's best for Vanessa.
00:09:14And for us.
00:09:15Call every law firm in states.
00:09:17Make sure no other firm will touch this case.
00:09:26Jackson, my wife's case is off limits.
00:09:29Don't lay a finger on it.
00:09:37Luke, it's me.
00:09:38Stay out of it.
00:09:39That's final.
00:09:48Please, you're the last person who can help me stand up to Cole and get justice for my sister's murder.
00:09:55Mrs. Winston, I admire your determination, visiting a hundred law firms in LA in three days.
00:10:01But you need to let this go.
00:10:02Your husband has this entire legal system in his pocket.
00:10:05Anyone who takes your case is declaring war on him.
00:10:07We can't risk that.
00:10:09I'll pay you anything you want.
00:10:11The Windsor family will...
00:10:13This is a down payment.
00:10:15I'll get more.
00:10:16Don't bother.
00:10:17Didn't anyone tell you?
00:10:19Your husband froze your accounts weeks ago.
00:10:22You can't access a single cent.
00:10:26No.
00:10:27No.
00:10:28No, no.
00:10:29No, that's impossible.
00:10:30It's my money.
00:10:32My family's money.
00:10:37You must have heard it wrong.
00:10:39He can't freeze my money.
00:10:41He has no right.
00:10:43He can't do this to me.
00:10:52Princess, please.
00:10:54Without Cole and Gaby, she's nothing.
00:10:55I thought she was some princess who ran the show.
00:10:57Look at her now.
00:10:58Just another crazy woman.
00:10:59I heard her sister was murdered, and her husband and her best friend did not nothing.
00:11:02They even forced her to sign some gag order.
00:11:04Let go of me!
00:11:05Let go!
00:11:06That's enough!
00:11:12Vanessa?
00:11:13Ready to behave now?
00:11:21Vanessa, sign it.
00:11:22This is the last time I'm asking nicely.
00:11:26You know I have a hundred ways to make you sign.
00:11:31Sign it.
00:11:32And we can start over.
00:11:34You'll still be our princess.
00:11:35We'll keep fighting, and don't expect me to stop anyone from stepping on you.
00:11:43Funny.
00:11:44The man who swore no one would ever touch me now tells me to accept being stepped on.
00:11:51Vanessa.
00:11:53You're better than this.
00:11:54Make peace with Madison, and everything goes back to the way it was.
00:12:04Gabe, stop.
00:12:06Please don't ruin your relationship with Mrs. Winson because of me.
00:12:12Mrs. Winson.
00:12:14I know my brother was wrong, but he's all I have.
00:12:19Please, don't take him away from me.
00:12:23Let go.
00:12:24If it makes you feel better, hit me.
00:12:26You can do whatever you want of me, as long as you forgive my brother.
00:12:29After all, some people just die when they should.
00:12:36Even if you kill me, I'll accept it.
00:12:59You said I could hit you.
00:13:03Satisfied?
00:13:07Vanessa, are you insane?
00:13:08You could have killed her.
00:13:09There are consequences.
00:13:13You're right.
00:13:14Killing someone has consequences.
00:13:16And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:13:22And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:13:34Mr. Lockwood, don't blame Vanessa.
00:13:37Blame me.
00:13:38I told her to do it.
00:13:40When I recover, I'll go apologize to her.
00:13:44As long as she can forgive my brother.
00:13:46Don't.
00:13:47Touch.
00:13:48Me.
00:13:52Cole, calm down.
00:13:54People are watching.
00:13:54Calm down.
00:13:56Vanessa's really hurt.
00:13:57This can't keep going this way.
00:13:59Cole, trust me.
00:14:02We're one step away from ending this.
00:14:04We'll hold a press conference to publicly clear Madison's brother.
00:14:07Once the public believes he's innocent,
00:14:10Vanessa will have no ground to fight us anymore.
00:14:13I know, Vanessa, she won't show up.
00:14:16Having anyone from the Windsor family in attendance would help.
00:14:19If Mrs. Windsor really doesn't want to come,
00:14:24it's such a shame her grandfather is so ill.
00:14:32Vanessa will come.
00:14:34Vanessa will come.
00:14:35Just make sure nothing happens at that press conference that could hurt her.
00:14:41Vanessa, I can't wait to watch you crumble at that press conference.
00:14:45But first, I'll teach you a lesson for hitting me, bitch!
00:14:51Anna, they won't stop me.
00:14:55Cole may have frozen my bank accounts, but I still have company shares.
00:14:59I'll hire the best lawyer in Europe to help us.
00:15:08I'm sorry, Mrs. Windsor.
00:15:10Your shares have been frozen as well.
00:15:13The board approved an emergency restriction under Mr. Lockwood's legal order.
00:15:18And with Mrs. Anna gone,
00:15:20our stock price has plummeted.
00:15:22Several creditors have already filed lawsuits.
00:15:24What?
00:15:30Mrs. Windsor, emergency.
00:15:32Debt collectors broke into your family's cemetery.
00:15:35They've destroyed your parents' graves.
00:15:46Dad.
00:15:48Mom, I'm sorry.
00:15:50It's all my fault.
00:15:52I failed to protect Anna.
00:15:54I failed to protect this family.
00:16:01I have to admit,
00:16:02seeing Princess Vanessa crying like this
00:16:04feels pretty amazing.
00:16:12What the hell are you doing here?
00:16:14Showing you the consequences for hitting people.
00:16:17After all,
00:16:19Cole and Gaba said I could do whatever I want.
00:16:22There are consequences!
00:16:24Cole,
00:16:25this is the consequence you meant?
00:16:27You couldn't tolerate me hitting her,
00:16:29but her brother killing my sister is okay?
00:16:31Destroying my family?
00:16:32Ruining my life?
00:16:33All just to protect her?
00:16:36Mom,
00:16:37Dad,
00:16:39this is all my fault.
00:16:41If I hadn't begged you to take Cole and Gaba in back then,
00:16:44none of this would have happened!
00:16:46Daddy,
00:16:47Mommy,
00:16:48I want them to be my brothers.
00:16:51Can they come live with us?
00:16:57Daddy,
00:16:58they're all alone.
00:16:59They lost their parents.
00:17:00They don't have a home anymore.
00:17:02Please,
00:17:03let them stay with us.
00:17:09I wonder what your parents would think,
00:17:11having daughters like you and Anna.
00:17:13One died early,
00:17:14the other's just useless.
00:17:16I guess rot runs in the family.
00:17:19How dare you humiliate my family!
00:17:24Perfect timing.
00:17:30Mrs. Winston,
00:17:31please don't hit me!
00:17:32I just wanted to apologize!
00:17:39Vanessa,
00:17:40stop making a scene!
00:17:45Mr. Lockwood,
00:17:46what do you want?
00:17:49What did you just call me?
00:17:53Vanessa,
00:17:54can you stop this?
00:17:56Tomorrow you'll attend a press conference
00:17:57and apologize to Mattis' brother,
00:17:59Richard,
00:18:00publicly.
00:18:00Tell everyone he didn't kill Anna,
00:18:03that it was all a misunderstanding.
00:18:04Clear his name.
00:18:06And if I don't...
00:18:15Of course you can refuse,
00:18:17but remember,
00:18:19you're not Anna's only surviving family member.
00:18:24Call Lockwood!
00:18:25What if you lay a finger on my grandpa?
00:18:27I swear I will tell you!
00:18:31Are you even the same person I loved?
00:18:35I don't even recognize you anymore.
00:18:39Vanessa,
00:18:40don't cry.
00:18:41I don't want this either.
00:18:44Gabe,
00:18:46if Cole changes his mind,
00:18:48will you still keep your promise?
00:18:52Vanessa!
00:18:53Anna's gone.
00:18:54Arthur is the only family you have left.
00:18:56You want to keep him safe, don't you?
00:18:57Gabe Reed,
00:18:58hear me clearly.
00:19:00If you dare touch my grandpa,
00:19:02I'll drag you to hell with me.
00:19:04Enough!
00:19:05I've treated you like a princess your whole life.
00:19:07All I ever wanted
00:19:08was for you to stand by my side,
00:19:10and now you threaten me?
00:19:11Vanessa,
00:19:14you have two options.
00:19:15Either you apologize at the press conference,
00:19:17or we'll roll your proud,
00:19:19stubborn grandpa there
00:19:20in his hospital bed
00:19:20to do it for you.
00:19:22So, Vanessa,
00:19:23what's it gonna be?
00:19:27I won't let them drag grandpa into this.
00:19:29The stress would kill him.
00:19:31Fine.
00:19:31I'll do it.
00:19:37Cole Lockwood!
00:19:39Gabe Reed,
00:19:40I swear on Anna's death.
00:19:42I'll make you pay for every single second
00:19:44per killer walk free!
00:19:46You can't talk to us like that!
00:19:48Vanessa,
00:19:49once we repay this debt,
00:19:51once this is over,
00:19:52we'll treat you like our princess again.
00:19:54You want the moon?
00:19:55We'll bring it down for you.
00:19:57No.
00:19:59From this day forward,
00:20:00we're done.
00:20:02You pay your debt,
00:20:04I'll avenge my sister.
00:20:10We're on opposite sides now.
00:20:13Vanessa,
00:20:14why do you look at me
00:20:15as if I'm a stranger?
00:20:16Have I really
00:20:17lost you this time?
00:20:19Someone had to knock
00:20:20that princess attitude
00:20:21out of her eventually.
00:20:24Are you out of your mind?
00:20:25Why the hell did you hit me?
00:20:26Vanessa is a princess.
00:20:27She doesn't need
00:20:28to change a damn thing!
00:20:34I'm sorry,
00:20:35Mr. and Mrs. Windsor.
00:20:37I'll fix everything.
00:20:39I swear it.
00:20:40I swear it.
00:20:47Once you apologize,
00:20:49it will all be over.
00:21:02I'm sorry.
00:21:03For any trouble,
00:21:04I may have caused
00:21:05Mr. Richard Pierce.
00:21:11Mrs. Winson,
00:21:12don't do this.
00:21:13It wasn't you
00:21:14who committed a crime.
00:21:15It was Anna.
00:21:16We don't blame your family.
00:21:19What did you just say?
00:21:20My sister never
00:21:21committed any crime!
00:21:22How dare you drag
00:21:23her name through the dirt!
00:21:25Mrs. Wilson,
00:21:27I understand your grief.
00:21:29But your sister,
00:21:31she was wild.
00:21:32She stalked me.
00:21:34She begged me
00:21:34to be her secret lover.
00:21:36When I refused,
00:21:37she went crazy.
00:21:38I feared for my life.
00:21:40Liar!
00:21:41Oh, my bad!
00:21:43I shouldn't have said that!
00:21:50Mrs. Windsor,
00:21:51just to confirm,
00:21:52you're saying
00:21:52Mr. Richard Pierce
00:21:53is completely innocent
00:21:54and had nothing to do
00:21:55with your sister Anna's death?
00:21:59Be smart.
00:22:01Think of your grandpa.
00:22:02If you want to protect
00:22:03the only family
00:22:04you have left,
00:22:05you'll say
00:22:06Richard is innocent.
00:22:18Yes.
00:22:20Richard is innocent.
00:22:29Mrs. Winston,
00:22:30so the rumors are true
00:22:31about your sister Anna's
00:22:32chaotic private life?
00:22:33Any comment on her
00:22:34alleged ten abortions?
00:22:36Mrs. Winston,
00:22:36sources allege
00:22:37Anna died while
00:22:37hallucinating after
00:22:38a drug bitch
00:22:39at a sex party.
00:22:40Is that what really
00:22:40happened that night?
00:22:43Answer us!
00:22:44Are the allegations true?
00:22:46Speak up,
00:22:47Mrs. Windsor!
00:22:48Damn right it's true!
00:22:49That horse was so
00:22:50fucking high
00:22:51she could barely breathe,
00:22:52pawing at me,
00:22:53whining for me
00:22:53to fuck her.
00:22:54When I told her
00:22:54to get lost,
00:22:55she went crawling
00:22:55after any dick in the room.
00:22:57No, it isn't.
00:22:59She went crawling
00:23:00after any dick
00:23:01in the room!
00:23:02She was wasted
00:23:02out of her soul,
00:23:03didn't know up from down,
00:23:05and hurled herself
00:23:06off the balcony
00:23:07like trash.
00:23:12Help me.
00:23:15This isn't right.
00:23:16None of this is true.
00:23:18They're hurting her!
00:23:21Cole, don't.
00:23:22This press conference,
00:23:23it's not real,
00:23:23I set it up.
00:23:24It's just an act
00:23:25for Richard to see.
00:23:26Vanessa just has to
00:23:27apologize and then this ends.
00:23:28Don't let all her
00:23:29suffering be for nothing.
00:23:31shit.
00:23:54Mrs. Wilson,
00:23:55Wilson, are you okay?
00:23:56Not so high and mighty now, are you, Princess?
00:24:00Your husband and your precious childhood sweetheart are both on my side again.
00:24:04Hurts, doesn't it?
00:24:06Mrs. Wilson understands she was wrong.
00:24:09When she signs the agreement confirming Richard's innocence, all is forgiven.
00:24:14You only ever spread it around because those two men adored you.
00:24:18The more you flaunted it, the more I long to drag you down.
00:24:22And since you love the truth so much, I've got some for you.
00:24:26The night Anna died, I opened the door for Richard.
00:24:34Anna!
00:24:35Anna!
00:24:36Anna!
00:24:37Anna!
00:24:37Don't scare me like this!
00:24:40I've got you.
00:24:44Richard said she was a virgin.
00:24:47Said your little sister's so fucking tight.
00:24:50He would have loved to fuck her longer, but too bad she screamed so loud.
00:24:54He had no choice but to silence her forever.
00:24:57Right before she took her last breath, Anna called out for you, Vanessa.
00:25:01You should have heard her, begging for her sister to save her.
00:25:13I'll kill you!
00:25:14I'll kill you!
00:25:15I'll kill you, you monster!
00:25:16I'll kill-
00:25:18I'll kill you!
00:25:21I'll kill you!
00:25:23I'll kill you!
00:25:24I'll kill you!
00:25:25All of you!
00:25:26You're monsters!
00:25:28Look at her.
00:25:29She still thinks she's the Winson princess everyone used to worship, please
00:25:33Winson's going down
00:25:35She's a princess
00:25:37Now she looks more like a maniac
00:25:56Move! All of you! Get away from her!
00:25:59My head, Richard, am I bleeding?
00:26:05Mr. Lockwood! My sister's hurt badly, please come check on her!
00:26:12Oh god, there's so much blood!
00:26:14Mr. Lockwood, Mr. Litt, I'm begging you!
00:26:17She hit her head, and someone stepped on her injured arm!
00:26:20Please save my sister!
00:26:22Mr. Lockwood, if Madison gets hurt because of Vanessa, she'll go to prison, Windsor can't survive another blow!
00:26:31Mr. Vanessa will go to prison?
00:26:36Brother, I'm scared! Am I dying? My arm? It hurts so much!
00:26:46It hurts so much!
00:26:46Mr. Lockwood, I'll take Madison to the hospital. Please, take care of Vanessa for us!
00:26:57I win again
00:26:59Cole, there's no coming back from this
00:27:02From this moment on, we're over
00:27:05I'm divorcing you
00:27:08Ow, it hurts so much
00:27:13There's nothing serious, not even a mild concussion
00:27:15And her arm, the one she injured saving us years ago
00:27:18She said it still flares up every year
00:27:20Her arm, which arm, both are perfectly fine
00:27:23No injuries, old or new
00:27:27What did you just say, her arms are completely fine?
00:27:35You've been lying this whole time
00:27:37You weren't the one who saved us at all, were you?
00:27:53I'm Vanessa Winston
00:27:55Tonight is my 28th birthday
00:27:58All my life, I truly believed I was the luckiest woman in the world
00:28:02Because I had three guardian angels
00:28:04Who loved me so completely
00:28:07Happy birthday, Vanessa
00:28:11That's my husband, Cole Lockwood
00:28:14A legend in the courtroom
00:28:15They call him the devil of the bar
00:28:19But, but this so-called devil
00:28:21Keeps all his tenderness just for me
00:28:26And my best friend and childhood sweetheart
00:28:30Gabe Reed
00:28:31To protect me
00:28:32He pushed himself to ace every exam
00:28:35And became the youngest detective
00:28:37In the history of the force
00:28:41And last, but the most precious of all
00:28:45My little sister, Anna Windsor
00:28:47She always had such a natural talent for management
00:28:50So that I could chase my dreams in the arts
00:28:53She stepped in
00:28:55And took over the entire Windsor business
00:28:57Right after she graduated
00:29:00I thought my life would stay this happy forever
00:29:05But, everything fell apart in a way I never could have imagined
00:29:10My sister, Anna
00:29:11Was murdered on my birthday
00:29:14Anna!
00:29:18Don't scare me like this
00:29:20I've got you
00:29:24Wake up
00:29:25Please, wake up
00:29:28Please, wake up
00:29:54He killed my sister!
00:29:57He's the murderer!
00:29:58I want him dead!
00:30:01I want him dead!
00:30:13The murderer was caught on the spot.
00:30:15The evidence was undeniable.
00:30:17The people I trusted were all here.
00:30:21But I never saw it coming.
00:30:23To date, none of Mr. Pierce's DNA has been found on the victim, Anna Winsley.
00:30:31Therefore, Your Honor, the defense requests that Richard Pierce be found not guilty.
00:30:37No, no, no.
00:30:38The evidence is insufficient.
00:30:39This court hereby declares Richard Pierce not guilty.
00:30:42He is free to go.
00:30:45No.
00:30:46No!
00:30:47No!
00:30:51No!
00:30:53Cole, you're my husband!
00:30:56Anna was your sister, too!
00:30:58How dare you defend the man who killed her!
00:31:01Vanessa, stop.
00:31:03This is a court move.
00:31:05They'll hold you in contempt.
00:31:06How can I calm down?
00:31:07My husband defended my sister's murderer!
00:31:10I screamed for answers, but Gabe Reed dragged me out before I could get a single one.
00:31:16And they did all of this for one reason.
00:31:19The killer was Madison's brother.
00:31:39Honey, this is a mutual release and non-prosecution agreement.
00:31:43Sign it.
00:31:44Knowledge, Richard Pierce Innocence.
00:31:46This ends today.
00:31:53Vanessa, this ends here.
00:31:56No charges, no claims, no future accusations.
00:32:01From today on, Anna's death was nothing but an accident.
00:32:10An accident?
00:32:13You saw the autopsy!
00:32:15Anna was stabbed 19 times!
00:32:1819 Cole!
00:32:20Do you have any idea how much she suffered?
00:32:24How terrified she was!
00:32:26You call that an accident?
00:32:28Do you even have a heart?
00:32:34Why are you doing this?
00:32:36What spell did she cast to make you protect her family like this?
00:32:40If I had known her brother would kill my sister, I never would have let her into my home as
00:32:46a maid!
00:32:52Vanessa, stop acting like a child.
00:32:54Three years ago, during that hiking trip, Cole and I fell off a cliff.
00:32:57If Madison hadn't dragged us out, we'd be dead!
00:33:01Madison shattered her arm, saving us.
00:33:03All she's asking now is that we protect the only family she has left!
00:33:08We owe her!
00:33:10You're saying...
00:33:12She saved you?
00:33:22Found you.
00:33:24Finally.
00:33:25You're safe now.
00:33:30Rich kids coming out here for thrills again?
00:33:34Dying in the woods is what they deserve.
00:33:39Guess this is my lucky day.
00:33:46Was it you?
00:33:48Did you save us?
00:33:49They're loaded.
00:33:50Maybe they could change my life.
00:33:53Yes.
00:33:53I saved you.
00:33:54I was the one who saved you!
00:33:56It was me!
00:33:58That snake lied to you!
00:34:00Enough!
00:34:05You were going to hit me for her?
00:34:08Vanessa, when Cole and I woke up, the first person we saw was Madison.
00:34:14And now you're twisting the story?
00:34:17Vanessa, Gabe and I owe Madison our lives.
00:34:20And you, as the woman we cherish, should stand with us, not against us.
00:34:29Sweetie, just sign it, okay?
00:34:32Sign it, and this all ends.
00:34:34Gabe and I will still treat you like our princess.
00:34:39I'm not signing anything.
00:34:43Her brother killed my sister.
00:34:46He will pay for it.
00:34:54Ma'am, I know how you see me.
00:34:57My brother and I, we're nothing.
00:35:00Our lives mean nothing to someone like you.
00:35:02If someone has to die for your sister, let it be me.
00:35:07Madison!
00:35:10Madison, stop.
00:35:12Don't do this to yourself.
00:35:15Vanessa, how can you be so cold?
00:35:17You just stand there while she's on her knees?
00:35:19It's fine, Gabe.
00:35:21Vanessa's a princess.
00:35:22Our lives aren't worth much to people like her.
00:35:25Enough!
00:35:26You will sign it.
00:35:27I've already spoken to the top firms in the country.
00:35:29Even if you refuse, no lawyer will ever take your case again.
00:35:43Vanessa, I will have justice for my sister's murder.
00:35:49I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:35:58I will make every single one of you regret this.
00:36:03How could she do that?
00:36:06It's one thing if she hates me, but hitting you?
00:36:10That's too much.
00:36:11Don't touch me.
00:36:13Vanessa's my wife.
00:36:14You don't get to judge her.
00:36:16Hey.
00:36:17It's okay.
00:36:18Go home.
00:36:18I'll talk to Cole.
00:36:25Cole, I know you're upset.
00:36:27But you can't treat Madison like that.
00:36:29She nearly lost her arm saving us.
00:36:31You think I wanted this case?
00:36:33She hadn't saved me.
00:36:34I would have never touched it.
00:36:38Anna was our sister, too.
00:36:40I know.
00:36:40But what choice do we have?
00:36:42We owe Madison our lives.
00:36:44Once this blows over, we'll put Vanessa back where she belongs.
00:36:48She'll still be our princess.
00:36:50She loves us.
00:36:51She'll forgive us.
00:36:52Did we really do the right thing?
00:36:53There's no turning back now.
00:36:55Shutting this case down quickly is what's best for Vanessa and for us.
00:37:00Call every law firm in states.
00:37:01Make sure no other firm will touch this case.
00:37:10Jackson, my wife's case is off limits.
00:37:13Don't lay a finger on it.
00:37:21Luke, it's me.
00:37:23Stay out of it.
00:37:24That's final.
00:37:32Please, you're the last person who can help me stand up to Cole and get justice for my sister's murder.
00:37:40Mrs. Winston, I admire your determination, visiting 100 law firms in L.A. in three days, but you need to
00:37:46let this go.
00:37:47Your husband has this entire legal system in his pocket.
00:37:50Anyone who takes your case is declaring war on him.
00:37:52We can't risk that.
00:37:54I'll pay you anything you want.
00:37:56The Windsor family will...
00:37:57This is a down payment.
00:37:59I'll get more.
00:38:00Don't bother.
00:38:02Didn't anyone tell you?
00:38:03Your husband froze your accounts weeks ago.
00:38:06You can't access a single cent.
00:38:10No.
00:38:11No.
00:38:12No, no.
00:38:13That's impossible.
00:38:15It's my money.
00:38:16My family's money.
00:38:18My family's money.
00:38:21You must have heard it wrong.
00:38:23He can't freeze my money.
00:38:25He has no right.
00:38:27He can't do this to me.
00:38:37Princess, please.
00:38:38Without Cole and Gabi, she's nothing.
00:38:40I thought she was some princess who ran the show.
00:38:42Look at her now.
00:38:42Just another crazy woman.
00:38:44I heard her sister was murdered and her husband and her best friend did not nothing.
00:38:47They even forced her to sign some gag order.
00:38:48Let go of me.
00:38:49Let go.
00:38:50That's enough.
00:38:56Vanessa.
00:38:58Ready to behave now?
00:39:05Vanessa, sign it.
00:39:07This is the last time I'm asking nicely.
00:39:10You know I have a hundred ways to make you sign.
00:39:15Sign it.
00:39:17And we can start over.
00:39:18You'll still be our princess.
00:39:19We'll keep fighting and don't expect me to stop anyone from stepping on you.
00:39:27Funny.
00:39:28The man who swore no one would ever touch me now tells me to accept being stepped on.
00:39:36Vanessa.
00:39:37You're better than this.
00:39:39Make peace with Madison and everything goes back to the way it was.
00:39:48Gabe, please don't ruin your relationship with Mrs. Winson because of me.
00:39:57Mrs. Winson.
00:39:59I know my brother was wrong, but he's all I have.
00:40:02Please, don't take him away from me.
00:40:07Let go.
00:40:08If it makes you feel better, hit me.
00:40:10You can do whatever you want of me, as long as you forgive my brother.
00:40:14After all, some people just die when they should.
00:40:21Even if you kill me, I'll accept it.
00:40:44You said I could hit you.
00:40:47Satisfied?
00:40:51Vanessa, are you insane?
00:40:53You could have killed her.
00:40:54There are consequences.
00:40:57You're right.
00:40:58Killing someone has consequences.
00:41:01And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:41:07And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
00:41:18Mr. Lockwood, don't blame Vanessa.
00:41:21Blame me.
00:41:22I told her to do it.
00:41:25When I recover, I'll go apologize to her.
00:41:28As long as she can forgive my brother.
00:41:31Don't.
00:41:31Touch.
00:41:32Me.
00:41:37Cole, calm down.
00:41:38People are watching.
00:41:39Calm down.
00:41:40Vanessa's really hurt.
00:41:42This can't keep going this way.
00:41:44Cole, trust me.
00:41:46We're one step away from ending this.
00:41:48We'll hold a press conference to publicly clear Madison's brother.
00:41:52Once the public believes he's innocent,
00:41:54Vanessa will have no ground to fight us anymore.
00:41:58I know Vanessa.
00:41:59She won't show up.
00:42:00Having anyone from the Windsor family in attendance would help.
00:42:03If Mrs. Windsor really doesn't want to come,
00:42:06if Mrs. Windsor really doesn't want to come,
00:42:08it's such a shame her grandfather is so ill.
00:42:17Vanessa will come.
00:42:19Just make sure nothing happens at that press conference that could hurt her.
00:42:25Vanessa, I can't wait to watch you crumble at that press conference.
00:42:30But first,
00:42:32I'll teach you a lesson for hitting me, bitch!
00:42:36Anna,
00:42:37they won't stop me.
00:42:39Cole may have frozen my bank accounts,
00:42:41but I still have company shares.
00:42:44I'll hire the best lawyer in Europe to help us.
00:42:53I'm sorry, Mrs. Windsor.
00:42:54Your shares have been frozen as well.
00:42:57The board approved an emergency restriction under Mr. Lockwood's legal order.
00:43:02And with Mrs. Anna gone,
00:43:05our stock price has plummeted.
00:43:07Several creditors have already filed lawsuits.
00:43:09What?
00:43:15Mrs. Windsor, emergency.
00:43:17Debt collectors broke into your family's cemetery.
00:43:19They've destroyed your parents' graves.
00:43:31Dad.
00:43:32Mom,
00:43:33I'm sorry.
00:43:35It's all my fault.
00:43:36I failed to protect Anna.
00:43:38I failed to protect this family.
00:43:45I have to admit,
00:43:47seeing Princess Vanessa crying like this
00:43:49feels pretty amazing.
00:43:56What the hell are you doing here?
00:43:59Showing you the consequences for hitting people.
00:44:02After all,
00:44:04Cole and Gaba said I could do whatever I want.
00:44:07There are consequences!
00:44:08Cole,
00:44:10this is the consequence you meant?
00:44:11You couldn't tolerate me hitting her,
00:44:13but her brother killing my sister is okay?
00:44:15Destroying my family?
00:44:17Ruining my life?
00:44:18All just to protect her?
00:44:20Mom,
00:44:21Dad,
00:44:23this is all my fault.
00:44:25If I hadn't begged you to take Cole and Gaba in back then,
00:44:28none of this would have happened!
00:44:31Daddy,
00:44:32Daddy,
00:44:33I want them to be my brothers.
00:44:35Can they come live with us?
00:44:41Daddy,
00:44:42they're all alone.
00:44:43They lost their parents.
00:44:44They don't have a home anymore.
00:44:46Please,
00:44:47let them stay with us.
00:44:53I wonder what your parents would think,
00:44:55having daughters like you and Anna.
00:44:57One died early,
00:44:59the other's just useless.
00:45:01I guess rot runs in the family.
00:45:03How dare you humiliate my family?
00:45:08Perfect timing.
00:45:14Mrs. Winston,
00:45:16please don't hit me.
00:45:17I just wanted to apologize.
00:45:23Vanessa,
00:45:24stop making a scene.
00:45:29Mr. Lockwood,
00:45:31what do you want?
00:45:33What did you just call me?
00:45:37Vanessa,
00:45:38can you stop this?
00:45:40Tomorrow,
00:45:41you'll attend a press conference
00:45:42and apologize to Mattis' brother,
00:45:44Richard,
00:45:44publicly.
00:45:45Tell everyone he didn't kill Anna,
00:45:47that it was all a misunderstanding.
00:45:49Clear his name.
00:45:50And if I don't,
00:45:59of course you can refuse,
00:46:01but remember,
00:46:03you're not Anna's only
00:46:05surviving family member.
00:46:08Call Lockwood,
00:46:10if you lay a finger on my grandpa,
00:46:11I swear I will kill you!
00:46:16Are you even the same person I loved?
00:46:19I don't even recognize you anymore.
00:46:23Vanessa,
00:46:25don't cry.
00:46:26I don't want this either.
00:46:29Gabe,
00:46:30if Cole changes his mind,
00:46:32will you still keep your promise?
00:46:36Vanessa,
00:46:37Anna's gone.
00:46:38Arthur is the only family you have left.
00:46:40You want to keep him safe,
00:46:41don't you?
00:46:42Gabe Reed,
00:46:43hear me clearly.
00:46:44If you dare touch my grandpa,
00:46:46I'll drag you to hell with me.
00:46:48Enough!
00:46:49I've treated you like a princess
00:46:50your whole life.
00:46:51All I ever wanted
00:46:52was for you to stand by my side,
00:46:54and now you threaten me?
00:46:56Vanessa,
00:46:58you have two options.
00:46:59Either you apologize
00:47:00at the press conference,
00:47:02or we'll roll your proud,
00:47:03stubborn grandpa there
00:47:04in his hospital bed
00:47:05to do it for you.
00:47:06So Vanessa,
00:47:07what's it gonna be?
00:47:12I won't let them
00:47:12drag grandpa into this.
00:47:14The stress would kill him.
00:47:15Fine.
00:47:16I'll do it.
00:47:22Cole Lockwood.
00:47:24Gabe Reed,
00:47:25I swear on Anna's death.
00:47:26I'll make you pay
00:47:27for every single second
00:47:29her killer walks free!
00:47:30You can't talk to us like that!
00:47:33Vanessa,
00:47:33once we repay this debt,
00:47:35once this is over,
00:47:36we'll treat you
00:47:37like our princess again.
00:47:38You want the moon?
00:47:40We'll bring it down for you.
00:47:41No.
00:47:43From this day forward,
00:47:45we're done.
00:47:46You pay your debt,
00:47:48I'll avenge my sister.
00:47:54We're on opposite sides now.
00:47:57Vanessa,
00:47:58why do you look at me
00:47:59as if I'm a stranger?
00:48:00Have I really
00:48:01lost you this time?
00:48:03Someone had to knock
00:48:04that princess attitude
00:48:05out of her eventually.
00:48:08Are you out of your mind?
00:48:09Why the hell
00:48:10did you hit me?
00:48:10Vanessa is a princess.
00:48:12She doesn't need
00:48:12to change a damn thing.
00:48:19I'm sorry,
00:48:20Mr. and Mrs. Windsor.
00:48:22I'll fix everything.
00:48:23I swear.
00:48:32Once you apologize,
00:48:33it will all be over.
00:48:46I'm sorry for any trouble
00:48:48I may have caused
00:48:49Mr. Richard Pierce.
00:48:55Mrs. Winson,
00:48:56don't do this.
00:48:57It wasn't you
00:48:58who committed a crime.
00:49:00It was Anna.
00:49:00We don't blame your family.
00:49:03What did you just say?
00:49:04My sister never committed
00:49:06any crime.
00:49:07How dare you drag her name
00:49:08through the dirt?
00:49:10Mrs. Wilson,
00:49:11I understand your grief.
00:49:13But your sister,
00:49:15she was wild.
00:49:17She stalked me.
00:49:18She begged me
00:49:19to be her secret lover.
00:49:20When I refused,
00:49:21she went crazy.
00:49:22I feared for my life.
00:49:25Liar!
00:49:25Oh, my bad.
00:49:27I shouldn't have said that.
00:49:34Mrs. Windsor,
00:49:35just to confirm,
00:49:36you're saying
00:49:36Mr. Richard Pierce
00:49:37is completely innocent
00:49:39and had nothing to do
00:49:40with your sister Anna's death?
00:49:44Be smart.
00:49:45Think of your grandpa.
00:49:46If you want to protect
00:49:47the only family
00:49:48you have left,
00:49:49you'll say
00:49:50Richard is innocent.
00:50:03Yes.
00:50:04Richard is innocent.
00:50:13Mrs. Winston,
00:50:14so the rumors are true
00:50:15about your sister Anna's
00:50:16chaotic private life?
00:50:18Any comment on her
00:50:19alleged ten abortions?
00:50:20Mrs. Winston,
00:50:21sources allege
00:50:21Anna died while hallucinating
00:50:22after a drug bitch
00:50:23at a sex party.
00:50:24Is that what really
00:50:25happened that night?
00:50:28Answer us!
00:50:29Are the allegations true?
00:50:30Speak up,
00:50:31Mrs. Windsor!
00:50:32Damn right it's true.
00:50:34That horch was so fucking high
00:50:35she could barely breathe,
00:50:36pawing at me,
00:50:37whining for me to fuck her.
00:50:38When I told her to get lost,
00:50:39she went crawling
00:50:40after any dick in the room.
00:50:41No, it isn't.
00:50:43She went crawling
00:50:44after any dick in the room!
00:50:46She was wasted
00:50:47out of her soul,
00:50:48didn't know up from down,
00:50:49and hurled herself
00:50:50off the balcony
00:50:51like trash.
00:50:57Help me.
00:50:59This isn't right.
00:51:00None of this is true.
00:51:02They're hurting her!
00:51:05Cole, don't.
00:51:06This press conference,
00:51:07it's not real,
00:51:08I set it up.
00:51:08It's just an act
00:51:09for Richard to see.
00:51:10Vanessa just has to apologize
00:51:11any of this ends.
00:51:12Don't let all her suffering
00:51:13be for nothing.
00:51:16Shit.
00:51:39Mrs. Wilson,
00:51:40are you okay?
00:51:41Not so high and mighty now,

00:51:45and your precious
00:51:46childhood sweetheart
00:51:47are both on my side again.
00:51:48Hates, doesn't it?
00:51:51Mrs. Wilson understands
00:51:52she was wrong.
00:51:53When she signs the agreement
00:51:54confirming Richard's innocence,
00:51:57all is forgiven.
00:51:59You only ever spread it around
00:52:00because those two men
00:52:01adored you.
00:52:02The more you flaunted it,
00:52:04the more I long
00:52:05to drag you down.
00:52:07And since you love
00:52:08the truth so much,
00:52:09I've got some for you.
00:52:11The night Anna died,
00:52:13I opened the door
00:52:15for Richard.
00:52:18Anna!
00:52:22Don't scare me like this!
00:52:24I've got you.
00:52:29Richard said she was a virgin.
00:52:31Said your little sister
00:52:32so fucking tight.
00:52:34He would have loved
00:52:35to fuck her longer,
00:52:36but too bad she screamed so loud.
00:52:38he had no choice
00:52:39but to silence her forever.
00:52:41Right before she took
00:52:42her last breath,
00:52:43Anna called out for you,
00:52:44Vanessa.
00:52:45You should have heard her
00:52:47begging for her sister
00:52:48to save her.

00:53:11You're monsters!
00:53:12Look at her.
00:53:13She still thinks
00:53:14she's the Winson princess
00:53:15everyone used to worship.
00:53:16Please.
00:53:17Winson's going down.
00:53:19She's not here now.

00:53:52Please, come check on her.
00:53:56Oh God, there's so much blood.
00:53:59Mr. Lockwood,
00:54:00Mr. Lockwood,
00:54:00I'm begging you.
00:54:01She hit her head
00:54:02and someone stepped
00:54:03on her injured arm.
00:54:05Please save my sister.
00:54:10Cole.
00:54:11If Madison gets hurt
00:54:12because of Vanessa,
00:54:13she'll go to prison.
00:54:13Windsor can't survive
00:54:14another blow.
00:54:15Vanessa?
00:54:16We'll go to prison?
00:54:17Go.
00:54:17Go.
00:54:20Brother,
00:54:22I'm scared.

00:54:50I'm divorcing you.
00:54:52Ow,
00:54:53it hurts so much.
00:54:57There's nothing serious,
00:54:59not even a mild concussion.
00:55:00And her arm?
00:55:01The one she injured
00:55:02saving us years ago.
00:55:03She said it still
00:55:03flares up every year.

00:55:21this whole time.
00:55:22You weren't the one
00:55:22who saved us at all,
00:55:23were you?
00:55:33I'm Vanessa Winston.

00:55:41in the world
00:55:41because I had
00:55:42three guardian angels
00:55:43who loved me
00:55:45so completely.
00:55:47Happy birthday,
00:55:48Vanessa.
00:55:51That's my husband,
00:55:52Cole Lockwood,
00:55:53a legend in the courtroom.
00:55:55They call him
00:55:56the devil of the bar.
00:55:58But,
00:55:59but this so-called devil
00:56:00keeps all his tenderness
00:56:02just for me.
00:56:04Shh.
00:56:06And my best friend
00:56:08and childhood sweetheart,
00:56:09Gabe Reed,
00:56:10to protect me,
00:56:12he pushed himself
00:56:13to ace every exam
00:56:14and became
00:56:15the youngest detective
00:56:16in the history
00:56:17of the force.
00:56:20Vanessa!
00:56:21And last,
00:56:22but the most precious

00:56:24my little sister,
00:56:25Anna Windsor.
00:56:27She always had
00:56:28such a natural talent
00:56:29for management
00:56:29so that I could
00:56:31chase my dreams
00:56:32in the arts.
00:56:33She stepped in
00:56:34and took over
00:56:35the entire Windsor business
00:56:36right after she graduated.
00:56:40I thought my life
00:56:41would stay this happy
00:56:42forever.
00:56:44But,
00:56:45everything fell apart
00:56:46in a way
00:56:47I never could have imagined.
00:56:49My sister,
00:56:50Anna,

00:57:52The murderer was caught on the spot.
00:57:54The evidence was undeniable.
00:57:57The people I trusted were all here.
00:58:01But I never saw it coming.
00:58:03At the date, none of Mr. Pierce's DNA has been found on the victim, Anna Winsley.
00:58:10Therefore, Your Honor, the defense requests that Richard Pierce be found not guilty.
00:58:16No, no.
00:58:17The evidence is insufficient.
00:58:19This court hereby declares Richard Pierce not guilty.
00:58:22He is free to go.
00:58:24No.
00:58:25No!
00:58:33You're my husband!
00:58:35Anna was your sister, too!
00:58:38How dare you defend the man who killed her!
00:58:41Vanessa, stop.
00:58:43This is a court rule.
00:58:44They'll hold you in contempt.
00:58:45How can I calm down?
00:58:46My husband defended my sister's murderer!
00:58:49I screamed for answers, but Gabe Reed dragged me out before I could get a single one.
00:58:56And they did all of this for one reason.
00:58:58The killer was Madison's brother.
00:59:06No!

00:59:40From today on, Anna's death was nothing but an accident.
00:59:46No!
00:59:50An accident?
00:59:52You saw the autopsy!
00:59:54Anna was stabbed 19 times!
00:59:5819 cold!
01:00:00Do you have any idea how much she suffered?
01:00:03How terrified she was?
01:00:05You call that an accident?
01:00:07Do you even have a heart?
01:00:13Why are you doing this?
01:00:16What spell did she cast to make you protect her family like this?
01:00:20If I had known her brother would kill my sister, I never would have let her into my home as
01:00:25a maid!
01:00:30Vanessa!
01:00:32Stop acting like a child!
01:00:34Three years ago, during that hiking trip, Cole and I fell off a cliff.
01:00:37If Madison hadn't dragged us out, we'd be dead!
01:00:40Madison shattered her arm, saving us.
01:00:42All she's asking now is that we protect the only family she has left.
01:00:47We owe her!
01:00:49You're saying she saved you?
01:00:58She saved you?
01:01:01Found you.
01:01:03Finally.
01:01:04You're safe now.
01:01:10Rich kids coming out here for thrills again?
01:01:13Dying in the woods is what they deserve.
01:01:18Guess this is my lucky day.
01:01:26Was it you?
01:01:27Did you save us?
01:01:28They're loaded.
01:01:29Maybe they could change my life.
01:01:32Yes.
01:01:33I saved you.
01:01:34I was the one who saved you!
01:01:36It was me!
01:01:37That snake lied to you!
01:01:39Enough!
01:01:44You were going to hit me for her?
01:01:47Vanessa, when Cole and I woke up, the first person we saw was Madison.
01:01:53And now you're twisting the story?
01:01:56Vanessa, Gabe and I owe Madison our lives.
01:02:00And you, as the woman we cherish, should stand with us, not against us.
01:02:08Sweetie, just sign it, okay?
01:02:11Sign it, and this all ends.
01:02:14Gabe and I will still treat you like our princess.
01:02:18I'm not signing anything.
01:02:23Her brother killed my sister.
01:02:26He will pay for it.
01:02:33Ma'am, I know how you see me.
01:02:36My brother and I, we're nothing.
01:02:39Our lives mean nothing to someone like you.
01:02:42If someone has to die for your sister, let it be me.
01:02:46Madison!
01:02:50Madison, stop.
01:02:51Don't do this to yourself.
01:02:54Vanessa, how can you be so cold?
01:02:57You just stand there while she's on her knees?
01:02:59It's fine, Gabe.
01:03:00Vanessa's a princess.
01:03:01Our lives aren't worth much to people like her.
01:03:04Enough.
01:03:05You will sign it.
01:03:06I've already spoken to the top firms in the country.
01:03:08Even if you refuse, no lawyer will ever take your case again.
01:03:19You listen to me.
01:03:21I am Vanessa Wensington.
01:03:25I will have justice for my sister's murder.
01:03:29I will make every single one of you regret this.
01:03:38I will make every single one of you regret this.
01:03:43How could she do that?
01:03:45It's one thing if she hates me, but hitting you?
01:03:49That's too much.
01:03:51Don't touch me.
01:03:52Vanessa's my wife.
01:03:53You don't get to judge her.
01:03:55Hey.
01:03:56It's okay.
01:03:57Go home.
01:03:58I'll talk to Cole.
01:04:04Cole, I know you're upset.
01:04:07But you can't treat Madison like that.
01:04:08She nearly lost her arm saving us.
01:04:10You think I wanted this case?
01:04:12She hadn't saved me.
01:04:13I would have never touched it.
01:04:17Anna was our sister too.
01:04:19I know.
01:04:20But what choice do we have?
01:04:21We owe Madison our lives.
01:04:24Once this blows over, we'll put Vanessa back where she belongs.
01:04:27She'll still be our princess.
01:04:29She loves us.
01:04:30She'll forgive us.
01:04:31Did we really do the right thing?
01:04:33There's no turning back now.
01:04:34Shutting this case down quickly is what's best for Vanessa.
01:04:37And for us.
01:04:39Call every law firm in states.
01:04:41Make sure no other firm will touch this case.
01:04:50Jackson.
01:04:50My wife's case is off limits.
01:04:52Don't lay a finger on it.
01:05:01Luke, it's me.
01:05:02Stay out of it.
01:05:03That's final.
01:05:11Please, you're the last person who can help me stand up to Cole and get justice for my sister's murder.
01:05:19Mrs. Winston, I admire your determination, visiting 100 law firms in L.A. in three days, but you need to
01:05:25let this go.
01:05:26Your husband has this entire legal system in his pocket.
01:05:29Anyone who takes your case is declaring war on him.
01:05:31We can't risk that.
01:05:33I'll pay you anything you want.
01:05:35The Windsor family will...
01:05:37This is a down payment.
01:05:38I'll get more.
01:05:39Don't bother.
01:05:41Didn't anyone tell you?
01:05:42Your husband froze your accounts weeks ago.
01:05:45You can't access a single cent.
01:05:49No.
01:05:50No.
01:05:52No.
01:05:52No.
01:05:53No.
01:05:53No.
01:05:53That's impossible.
01:05:54It's my money.
01:05:55My family's money.
01:06:00You must have heard it wrong.
01:06:03He can't freeze my money.
01:06:05He has no right.
01:06:06He can't do this to me.
01:06:16Princess, please.
01:06:17Without Cole and Gabi, she's nothing.
01:06:19I thought she was some princess who ran the show.
01:06:21Look at her now.
01:06:22Just another crazy woman.
01:06:23I heard her sister was murdered and her husband and her best friend did not nothing.
01:06:26They even forced her to sign some gag order.
01:06:28Let go of me!
01:06:29Let go!
01:06:29That's enough!
01:06:36Vanessa.
01:06:37Ready to behave now?
01:06:38No.
01:06:38No.
01:06:44Vanessa, sign it.
01:06:46This is the last time I'm asking nicely.
01:06:49You know I have a hundred ways to make you sign.
01:06:54Sign it.
01:06:56And we can start over.
01:06:58You'll still be our princess.
01:06:59We'll keep fighting.
01:07:00And don't expect me to stop anyone from stepping on you.
01:07:06Funny.
01:07:07The man who swore no one would ever touch me now tells me to accept being stepped on.
01:07:15Vanessa.
01:07:16You're better than this.
01:07:18Make peace with Madison and everything goes back to the way it was.
01:07:28Gabe, stop.
01:07:30Please don't ruin your relationship with Mrs. Winson because of me.
01:07:36Mrs. Winson.
01:07:38I know my brother was wrong, but he's all I have.
01:07:43Please, don't take him away from me.
01:07:46Let go!
01:07:47If it makes you feel better, hit me!
01:07:49You can do whatever you want of me as long as you forgive my brother.
01:07:53After all, some people just die when they should.
01:07:59Even if you kill me, I'll accept it!
01:08:03Even if you kill me, I'll accept it!
01:08:23You said I could hit you.
01:08:27Satisfied?
01:08:31Vanessa, are you insane?
01:08:32You could have killed her!
01:08:33There are consequences!
01:08:37You're right.
01:08:38Killing someone has consequences.
01:08:40And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
01:08:46And someone is going to pay for my sister's death.
01:08:57Mr. Lockwood, don't blame Vanessa. Blame me!
01:09:02I told her to do it.
01:09:04When I recover, I'll go apologize to her.
01:09:07As long as she can forgive my brother.
01:09:10Don't. Touch. Me.
01:09:16Cole, calm down. People are watching.
01:09:18Calm down. Vanessa's really hurt.
01:09:21This can't keep going this way.
01:09:23Cole, trust me.
01:09:25We're one step away from ending this.
01:09:27We'll hold a press conference to publicly clear Madison's brother.
01:09:31Once the public believes he's innocent,
01:09:34Vanessa will have no ground to fight us anymore.
01:09:37I know Vanessa. She won't show up.
01:09:39Having anyone from the Windsor family in attendance would help.
01:09:43If Mrs. Windsor really doesn't want to come...
01:09:47It's such a shame her grandfather is so ill.
01:09:58It's such a shame her grandfather is so ill.
01:10:04Vanessa, I can't wait to watch you crumble at that press conference.
01:10:10But first...
01:10:11I'll teach you a lesson for hitting me, bitch!
01:10:15Anna, they won't stop me.
01:10:18Cole may have frozen my bank accounts, but I still have company shares.
01:10:23I'll hire the best lawyer in Europe to help us.
01:10:32I'm sorry, Mrs. Windsor. Your shares have been frozen as well.
01:10:36The board approved an emergency restriction under Mr. Lockwood's legal order.
01:10:42And with Mrs. Anna gone, our stock price has plummeted.
01:10:46Several creditors have already filed lawsuits.
01:10:48What?
01:10:54Mrs. Windsor, emergency. Debt collectors broke into your family's cemetery.
01:10:59They've destroyed your parents' graves!
01:11:00girl over the door.
01:11:10Dad.
01:11:12Mom, I'm sorry.
01:11:14It's all my fault.
01:11:16I failed to protect Anna.
01:11:18I failed to protect this family.
01:11:24I have to admit, seeing Princess Vanessa crying like this
01:11:28It feels pretty amazing.
01:11:36What the hell are you doing here?
01:11:38Showing you the consequences for hitting people.
01:11:41After all, Cole and Gaba said I could do whatever I want.
01:11:46There are consequences!
01:11:48Cole, this is the consequence you meant?
01:11:51You couldn't tolerate me hitting her,
01:11:52but her brother killing my sister is okay?
01:11:55Destroying my family, ruining my life?
01:11:57All just to protect her?
01:12:00Mom, Dad, this is all my fault.
01:12:04If I hadn't begged you to take Cole and Gaba in back then,
01:12:08none of this would have happened!
01:12:10Daddy, Mommy, I want them to be my brothers.
01:12:14Can they come live with us?
01:12:20Daddy, they're all alone.
01:12:22They lost their parents.
01:12:24They don't have a home anymore.
01:12:26Please, let them stay with us.
01:12:33I wonder what your parents would think,
01:12:35having daughters like you and Anna.
01:12:37One died early, the other's just useless.
01:12:40I guess rot runs in the family.
01:12:42How dare you humiliate my family!
01:12:47Perfect timing.
01:12:53Mrs. Winston, please don't hit me!
01:12:56I just wanted to apologize!
01:13:02Vanessa, stop making a scene!
01:13:09Mr. Lockwood, what do you want?
01:13:13What did you just call me?
01:13:16Vanessa, can you stop this?
01:13:19Tomorrow you'll attend a press conference
01:13:21and apologize to Mattis' brother, Richard, publicly.
01:13:24Tell everyone he didn't kill Anna,
01:13:26that it was all a misunderstanding.
01:13:27Clear his name!
01:13:29And if I don't...
01:13:39Of course you can refuse.
01:13:41But remember,
01:13:43you're not Anna's only surviving family member.
01:13:48Call Lockwood!
01:13:49What if you lay a finger on my grandpa?
01:13:50I swear I will kill you!
01:13:55Are you even the same person I loved?
01:13:59I don't even recognize you anymore!
01:14:02Vanessa,
01:14:04don't cry.
01:14:05I don't want this either.
01:14:08Gabe,
01:14:09if Cole changes his mind,
01:14:12will you still keep your promise?
01:14:15Vanessa!
01:14:16Anna's gone.
01:14:17Arthur is the only family you have left.
01:14:19You want to keep him safe, don't you?
01:14:21Gabe Reed,
01:14:22hear me clearly.
01:14:23If you dare touch my grandpa,
01:14:25I'll drag you to hell with me.
01:14:28Enough!
01:14:28I've treated you like a princess your whole life.
01:14:31All I ever wanted was for you to stand by my side,
01:14:34and now you threaten me?
01:14:35Vanessa,
01:14:37you have two options.
01:14:39Either you apologize at the press conference,
01:14:41or we'll roll your proud, stubborn grandpa there in his hospital bed to do it for you.
01:14:45So, Vanessa,
01:14:47what's it gonna be?
01:14:51That's all right.
01:14:52The man who asks me like to do.
01:14:53And I'm sorry.
01:14:53I'm sorry,
01:14:55I'm sorry.
01:14:56I don't know.
01:14:56I don't know.
