00:50other South Vietnamese pilots just hovered long enough to unload their passengers and then headed to the side of the
00:57ship and just jumped out with their lights as to be picked up by US sailors

01:04still other pilots headed out to the side of the ships after unloading their passengers and settled the craft into

01:14so we just just physically pushed them
01:18of course this was a big old helicopter thousands of pounds so we we had to figure out how to
01:22get it 15 feet over to the edge of the flight deck
01:29so we had to disarm them
01:35none of them had ever landed on a ship before they're Vietnamese Air Force everybody had a gun they took
01:40all the guns away from them
01:41and about five minutes later another one came in and landed and uh we pushed his airplane over to the
01:47side
01:51that was the second one I helped push that one over too then the third plane came in it landed
