It is a crisp 3 degrees at 10:47 AM as we begin this beautiful London winter walking tour along the River Thames in Westminster. The sunlight glistens on the water, reflecting like silver as it hits the grand façade of the Palace of Westminster. The cold late morning air feels fresh and energizing, while across the river the iconic London Eye slowly rises above the skyline, completing this classic London riverside scene.

We start inside Victoria Tower Gardens, where the trees stand still in the winter chill and the Thames flows calmly beside us. The golden sunlight dances across the river’s surface, and boats gently move along the current, adding life to this peaceful Westminster morning. The Palace looks majestic in the winter light, its historic stone glowing warmly against the blue sky.

About ten minutes into our walk, we approach the elegant Buxton Memorial Fountain, its Gothic design standing beautifully within the gardens. Soon after, we arrive at Lambeth Bridge, where the river opens up into wide panoramic views. The Thames looks stunning from here, beautifully glowing under the sun, with boats wobbling gently in the water and the London Eye visible in the distance.
