02:08Intermediate sprint and then the biggest test of this race, laying up ahead.
02:13Could the breakaway break the hearts of those who are chasing?
02:16Modern Adventure Pro cycling set the pace on the chase.
02:20Selling the pace ahead of the second climb of the day,
02:23Kalberg, the Finnish champion, set off, but he'd gone too early.
02:25He was on the radio saying, where are you, my friend?
02:28And supposed to be leading you to these points?
02:31Well, he accidentally took all three, but behind him, that big throw to the line.
02:37And Eric Vangas closed the gap in the mountains competition to just one point, with one day remaining.
02:44Big points up for grabs, of course, on the all-category test at the end of the day.
02:48But really, those in the mountains competition would not feature.
02:52This was going to be about the GC men, and after two days of sprinting, it was to come down
02:57to the big test.
02:58An intermediate sprint, notwithstanding, lying on the road up ahead.
03:02It was pin-pull time for those who'd done their duty on the day.
03:07Vangas resting up.
03:08He went back to the peloton.
03:09He'll go again on stage four.
03:15Vangas joined Babakshas back in the peloton.
03:18Left three up the road, ultimately.
03:22And so it was that we headed towards our final destination.
03:26Glorious scenery yet again.
03:29And so many riders on these narrow roads wanted to be up towards the front.
03:34That was the best place to be.
03:36You had to get to the foot of the last climb in a decent position.
03:41There was no room to maneuver at all.
03:45And so sprint had been dealt with, absorbed by the three riders up the road.
03:50They ultimately would, of course, be caught.
03:53Onto the double bridges that had started the day.
03:55We were returning back to our almost starting point before heading up on the climb itself.
04:01The peaks, rising.
04:03Who would take flight?
04:05That was the big question.
04:07The speeds were high on the approach.
04:09They were about to dissipate almost entirely by the time we got to the cruel ramps late on.
04:15Last man standing from the break would be Kalberg.
04:19He picked up a combativity award at the end.
04:22And the jersey was about to be handed over.
04:26Lennardi had fought so hard to stay in the Midnight Sun jersey.
04:30But we knew it was going to be on somebody else's shoulders by the end.
04:33They were lining themselves up for glory.
04:37Big run in for NSN Cycling.
04:39Ethan Vernon himself getting involved.
04:41Others getting out of shape.
04:43Total Energies found the gravel, got themselves back sorted out.
04:47They would hope to be a feature by the very last.
04:50It was about energy preservation and then spending it wisely once you got, of course, to our run for home.
04:58The young jersey was about to transfer.
05:00But to whose shoulders young men were coming to the fore?
05:03You had to be on your mettle.
05:10A check over the shoulder from Sebastian Beric.
05:13He'd been out of position on the first significant incline that we had.
05:17But he's doing an amazing job at the moment.
05:19Staying planted is the German champion in about wheel six.
05:22But it's the red jersey you need to look at here.
05:24Lenni van Eveln.
05:25Here he goes.
05:25Oh, he picks it up and says, I'm out of here.
05:28See ya.
05:29Silva's the man that goes with him.
05:30Staying with him as Rob Dalt as well.
05:32And it's going to be between those three.
05:34That's the decision.
05:36Who's going to get that first hit?
05:38And nobody knows.
05:39Big click here coming from Alessandro Pinarello.
05:42He vessels to get back on onto the back wheel of Rob Dalt.
05:45And then goes straight back into the saddle.
05:46Can't actually make it stick.
05:48He might go again.
05:49But Silva picks it up and goes.
05:51Lenni van Eveln will try and stay with him.
05:53But Silva looks like he's in stealing mode here.
05:55Absolutely superb.
05:56Rhodes running out for everybody.
05:58And Silva looks like he's going to get here.
06:00He's been so busy when it comes to intermediate sprint bonus points.
06:05Can he bring this home?
06:06Van Eveln's now going to start sprinting.
06:08200 metres to go for Van Eveln.
06:09A little bit less than that.
06:10The man in front of him.
06:11It's going to be a sprint for the line here.
06:13And it's going to be a minor place for just about everybody else.
06:15Van Eveln still with work to do.
06:17And Silva looks like he might well have made a steal.
06:19What an amazing finale.
06:21This is going to be 100 metres to go now.
06:24Silva checks over his shoulder.
06:27Van Eveln is still not giving up the ghost here.
06:29And he's coming back at him as we get to the hoarded section.
06:31A two-up sprint here.
06:33Silva looks magnificent.
06:34But so does Van Eveln.
06:35Who's going to get there first?
06:37Oh, Silva makes the steal.
06:38It's gold for Silva.
06:45Obviously, I feel very good.
06:46The team trusted me and able to respond in this way.
06:50We knew that maybe it wasn't the best final for me.
06:52But we were going to try it as well.
06:55And I'm really happy to give him a new victory.
06:59And now, as a leader, I'm going to try to defend it tomorrow.
07:18What a winner we had.
07:20What a battle.
07:22And it's going to rage on them the final day.
07:24Silva taking it ahead of Van Eveln.
07:26They 1-2 overall.
07:28Pinarello close.
07:29Le Vrond.
07:30And, of course, Engelhardt.
07:33There can only be one leader.
07:34And we've got it for now.
07:36He's confident for the final day.
07:38He leads ahead of Van Eveln by 10 seconds overall.
07:43And, of course, we've got it.
07:51Thank you.
07:51Thank you.
07:53Thank you.
07:54Thank you.
07:56absolument Gonzalo.
07:57Thank you.
07:57Nico Insani.
07:59Thank you.
08:00Thank you.
