00:08This is my 20 minute long Thanksgiving story song
00:13This is my 20 minute long Thanksgiving story song
00:19My name's Frank and you can call me Frank
00:22This is about how I learned how to think
00:25This is my 20 minute long Thanksgiving story song
00:32It was a cool crisp Thanksgiving morning
00:34I was just asleep in my bed
00:36When my friend Johnny Plymouth came in and woke me up
00:39Said, hey Frank, this is Thanksgiving
00:41Gotta be on our way to the Thanksgiving party down at the schoolhouse
00:46On account of it's Thanksgiving
00:47And I said, gosh darn it Johnny Plymouth
00:50What's so special about this Thanksgiving party down at the schoolhouse
00:54And I said, you had to wake me up so god dang earth
00:56And he said, why Frank, this Thanksgiving is the most important holiday of all
01:01I said, right
01:03And then Johnny Plymouth dragged me out of my bedroom
01:06And down the steps and kicked me out the door and into the car
01:09I asked him, Johnny, at Christmas you open presents
01:12At Halloween you dress up and eat candy
01:14Now what the heck am I supposed to do at a Thanksgiving party
01:18He said, why be thankful of course
01:21I said, Johnny, can I admit something to you
01:25He looked me up and down
01:27I said, keep your eyes on the road
01:28He said
01:29Of course you can admit something to me, Frankless
01:32What is it?
01:33I said, Johnny
01:36I don't know how to thank
01:40Well he swerved off the road and crashed into a ditch
01:44On the way walking to the school
01:45I asked him to explain thankfulness to me
01:48He told me
01:49Well thankfulness is when somebody does something nice for you
01:52And you say thanks
01:53And hopefully he returned the favor
01:54I said, oh yeah
01:56I think I get it
01:58Well we got to the Thanksgiving party
02:00Down at the schoolhouse
02:01On that crisp Thanksgiving morning
02:03After walking in that cold Thanksgiving breeze
02:06I looked around and saw my neighbor Harold
02:08Who helped me with my taxes
02:09I went up to him and said
02:11Harold, watch this
02:12I pulled out my phone and made a phone call
02:15And then a couple seconds later
02:16I hung up and said
02:17Harold, to thank you for helping me with my taxes
02:21I've just made it so you never have to pay another cent
02:23To tax money ever again
02:25According to the government
02:27You're legally dead
02:29Well he just looked at me
02:32And then I walked back on over to Johnny Plymouth
02:35Feeling proud of myself
02:37Very proud of myself
02:38For having figured out thankfulness
02:40And on Thanksgiving no less
02:42Johnny didn't feel the same
02:44But I just had a big ol' smile on my face
02:47And I started singing once again
02:51This is my 20 minute long Thanksgiving story song
02:56This is my 20 minute long Thanksgiving story song
03:02My name's Frank
03:04You can call me Frank
03:05This is about how I learned how to think
03:08This is my 20 minute long Thanksgiving story song
03:15Well Johnny said to me
03:17Frankless, you just aren't getting it
03:18Being thankful does not usually entail fraud
03:22And I said, right
03:24He said, being thankful is meant to make people feel better
03:27It's very important, you know
03:29And I said, well I guess I'll just have to try it again
03:33It was then that Jane, my other neighbor
03:35That is my neighbor on the other side
03:37Walked in and I thought
03:38Now this was the perfect opportunity to express thanks
03:42So I walked on up and I said
03:44Hey Jane, remember that time you made me a pie when I was six?
03:47She said
03:48Well sure of course
03:49I said, well
03:50Have I got something for you
03:52And I went to give her this pie I had just made
03:55She said
03:55Well it smells good
03:57But I just ate
03:58So no thanks
04:01No
04:03Thanks
04:08This is my 20 minute long Thanksgiving story song
