00:01The audience was watching Caliph Abdul Malik bin Marwan performing Tawaf around the Kaaba.
00:05His eyes fell on a young man whose face was very serious.
00:09But he looked poor in his clothes.
00:12Caliph Abdul Malik asked who this young man was.
00:15So he was told that the young man's name was Salem.
00:18And this is the son of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him).
00:22And he is the grandson of Sayyiduna Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him).
00:26Caliph Abdul Malik was shocked and sent for the young man.
00:31Caliph Abdul Malik asked, "Son, I am a great disciple of your grandfather, Sayyiduna Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him)."

00:38And I am very sorry for your situation.
00:41And I would be happy if I could be of any use to you.
00:44You state your needs and whatever you ask for will be given to you.
00:48The young man replied, "O Commander of the Faithful, I am currently in the House of Allah."
00:54And I am ashamed to sit in the house of Allah and ask for something from someone else.
00:59Caliph Abdul Malik looked at his calm face and fell silent.
01:05The Caliph told his slave that as soon as this young man left the worship and left the House of Allah,

01:11So bring him to me, Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) as soon as he leaves.
01:18Exit the Kaaba's sanctuary
01:20So the slave said to him, "The Commander of the Faithful has remembered you."
01:24So Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Caliph.
01:28Caliph Abdul Malik said, "Young man, you are no longer in the House of Allah."
01:33Now tell me your needs. I want to help you.
01:38Salim bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Commander of the Faithful, what need can you fulfill for me?"

01:46Worldly or hereafter
01:47Amir al-Mu'minin replied, "I only have worldly wealth and possessions at my disposal."
01:52Salim bin Abdullah replied, "O Commander of the Faithful, I have never asked Allah for this world."
01:58Who is the master of this world
02:01What should I ask of you? My needs and worries are only about the hereafter.
02:06If you can help me in this regard,
02:09So I explain.
02:11The Caliph was astonished and shocked.
02:14And he said, "Young man, it's not you, it's your blood that's speaking."
02:19Leaving Caliph Abdul Malik astonished and shocked
02:23Salim bin Abdullah left there.
02:26And they entered the street adjacent to the sanctuary.
02:29And disappeared from sight.
02:31Thus, a young man taught the ruler of time a great lesson in preparing for the hereafter.
