The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) is planning to conduct a cloud-seeding operation to mitigate the current hot and dry spell.

Deputy Premier Datuk Douglas Uggah, who is also SDMC chairman, said the operation will focus on dam and water catchment areas to ensure the stability of water supply and reservoir levels in the state.
