00:00Allah, thank you for your kindness.
00:03Your mercy never leaves me.
00:23Imam Muhammad ibn Ismail,
00:26your name has crossed borders.
00:30Without banners.
00:31Scholars repeat it.
00:33Students preserve it.
00:36Remain near me.
00:37Let this court support your work.
00:40Gold, scribes, safety, all at your command.
00:45My lord speaks with wisdom.
00:47Many truths perish unseen.
00:50Power gives them reach.
00:51Authority may give reach,
00:54but it also demands silence.
00:56Knowledge grows stronger when rulers protect it.
01:02Knowledge grows weaker when rulers shape it.
01:07My lord, scholars before him chose distance for a reason.
01:11Truth bends slowly, but once bent it rarely straightens.
01:14You refuse honor?
01:17Think it again.
01:19I refuse dependency.
01:21I did not cross deserts to sit beside thrones.
01:25I did not memorize chains to break my own intention.
01:31Refusal has consequences.
01:33So does acceptance.
01:35Protection belongs to Allah.
01:37Provision follows sincerity.
01:40And knowledge remains pure only when it stands alone.
01:44I seek Allah's pleasure, not the favor of courts.
