00:14Lovely view. What is the red mark that we're seeing on the image right now of the sun?
00:19So the red mark is that filament. So it's a bunch of very hot material that has been hanging above
00:25the sun
00:26and just kind of hanging out there based on the magnetic fields of the sun that keeps it kind of
00:31in a little magnetic cage. Oh, look at that. That's a really nice view of the corona. You're seeing
00:37things that look like streaks coming out of us, and those are streamers. So that's the basis of
00:41the solar wind that we are bathed in constantly. The sun is constantly outflowing material. And so
00:50that's that constant stream. And then you see what could become a big chunk at some point in time in
00:54the pink filaments that you see there.
