"Sundarkand" is the fifth chapter (Kand) of the *ShriRamcharitmanas*. Originally, the *Sundar Kand* was written in Sanskrit by Sage Valmiki within the *Ramayana*. Later, when Tulsidas composed the *Shri Ramcharitmanas*, the version of the *Sundar Kand* in the Awadhi language was presented to us. The *Sundarkand* offers a captivating and comprehensive account of Hanuman's journey to Lanka in search of Mother Sita. Sundarkand is a section that specifically extols the valor of Lord Hanuman.
