01:59The Empire State Building stands as a silent sentinel on Manhattan Island on 5th Avenue at 34th Street
02:04and towers 1,772 feet in the air, making it the tallest building in the world.
02:10The building was completed on May 1st, 1931, from the plans of Shreve, Lamb and Harman.
02:16It has 102 storeys, 74 elevators and can house 25,000 clients.
02:21The Queen Mother also returned, obviously, later on in the 50s.
02:25And so did our late Queen.
