00:00I think the most extraordinary television interview that has ever been, but it's the effect of that interview on Diana
00:09that for her family and in the writing of the book, I worked very, very closely with Charles Spencer.
00:17And I can tell you that for her family, it is absolutely heartbreaking, the firm belief that without that interview,
00:27Diana would be here today.
00:30She would be here, you know, the grandmother of five, about to celebrate her 65th year.
00:36She and Fergie actually ripped up the floorboards of Kensington Bell as looking for bugs.
00:41I mean, Diana did what you call a sweep for bugs and she was constantly doing that.
00:47But she did say that she really was convinced that she was going to have an accident in her car.
00:54She really was convinced of that.
00:56She had, I know she had a private security guy called Graham Harding, who was ex-military, who did do
01:04a sweep of, you know, not just like Fergie and her ripping up the floorboards,
01:08but she got these professionals in to do a sweep in Kensington Palace.
01:12And there was one point where apparently he pointed his magic gadget at a bit of the wall and said,
01:18yeah, there's something on the other side.
01:21And apparently he comes back the next day and repeats it and it's gone.
