00:00Chris, can you tell me why it's so important for you personally to support UTEP?
00:05Oh listen, I've been a part of SoccerAid now for a long, long time.
00:09I think I've gone over to see a lot of the work that UNICEF do, the suppliers,
00:14and they help they give children around the world.
00:15And so, for me, it's just an honour to be a part of it.
00:19Not only do I get to play in these amazing football stadiums,
00:21I get to meet all these amazing stars, and also play with some amazing pros.
00:26I also get to, you know, use my profile to help raise tons of money for people,
00:31and all them children that need it. So yeah, it's a win-win.
00:35And you just completed an amazing challenge in all of the US as well.
00:39How did that go? What did you learn from it? What surprised you from it?
00:44I think I just learned, like, I've got quite a good resilience, you know what I mean?
00:49Like, I didn't realise I could keep going the way that I did.
00:52I just, you know, you don't know until you do something like that, right?
00:55That you've got that, you know, something about you.
00:58So every day was tough. It was an amazing challenge to do.
01:02But what people don't see is the amazing team Soccer Aid have got behind the scenes.
01:05Like, they really push me along every day.
01:07And obviously, knowing at the end of it I was going to see my wife and my kids
01:10was really special. So, just a great week.
01:13We raised so much money, more than I expected.
01:16You know, especially in the world that we live in right now.
01:18It's tough times for everyone, so I appreciate every donation.
01:21It's going to make a massive difference to so many kids.
01:23And so, yeah, I'm just really excited that, you know, I've got to do something so incredible.
01:28And I sort of left a mark on the 20 year anniversary of Soccer Aid.
01:32And I've been a huge supporter of this for 15 years.
01:35So, it's just nice to do something so amazing.
01:38And the line-up for the celebrity side is pretty impressive this year.
01:42Yeah.
01:42Who do you think is going to surprise everyone?
01:44Who do you think will be the toughest opponent?
01:46God, I think, to be honest with you, the rest of the world seem to be getting better
01:50and bigger every year.
01:51But I'm back in England.
01:53I'm back the lads.
01:55I'm looking forward to seeing them all on the training pitch
01:57and seeing what they're like.
01:58At the moment, I haven't seen them play football.
01:59So, hopefully I can bring a little bit back that I used to have three or four years ago.
02:05But, yes, it's going to be a good night.
02:07Any names you're really excited to play with?
02:11Oh, I'm always looking forward to playing with Sam Thompson,
02:13obviously Tom Grenham, obviously Tom Hiddleston.
02:17It's going to be amazing to meet him.
02:18Danny Dyer is obviously going to be there.
02:20And just loads of great people in there.
02:22So, I'm just looking forward to seeing everyone.
