00:00Sarah Ferguson has reported being snubbed over a US book deal. Apparently she's been offering to tell her story that
00:09I've heard rumors about this for a very long time. It wouldn't be the first time she has done this
00:13before. What do you think that could potentially look like if any publisher was willing to take it on?
00:19Well, I think the king still battling cancer, still acting brilliantly as monarch and head of state. That is one
00:30headache that he does not need. I just think it would just be a disaster because, of course, if you're
00:39going to write a book and you've been given the rights to and presumably quite a lot of money to
00:44do so, you're going to have to spill the beans.
00:46You've got to have some really explosive information that hasn't been seen before in this book. No one wants to
00:53read that. If you're a member of the royal family, you know, clearly we'd like to read it.
00:56We would.
00:59But I wonder, as part of the settlement of Andrew and Sarah leaving Royal Lodge, that she was actually given
01:08money and signed a non-disclosure agreement that she couldn't write a book.
01:16Is that what you would have done had you been in that, in your previous role?
01:20Yes. That's what I'd be, yeah, that's what I advise.
01:23You know, here is a payout, but that means you can't, that's it. No more public speaking, no more book
01:29writing, no more interviews. Enough is enough.
