00:26Anwar accused Perikatan National of prioritising political theatrics over the interests of Malaysians
00:34who rely on Tabung Haji to save for their pilgrimage.
00:37Anwar said Malays and Muslims had been betrayed and urged the opposition to stop playing political games.
00:44He stressed that the interests of the poor, fishermen, farmers, teachers, policemen, soldiers and retirees
00:52who work hard and save their money in Tabung Haji must remain the priority.
00:56Earlier, the opposition staged the walkout after Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul
01:02rejected PN Chief Whip Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan's request
01:07to postpone the sitting on the Royal Commission of Inquiry report into Lembaga Tabung Haji.
01:13Takiyuddin had argued that the Prime Minister's presence was necessary under Standing Order 11, Subsection 3,
01:20given the public interest surrounding the matter.
01:23However, Johari ruled that proceedings could continue with Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi
01:31and other Cabinet members, as Anwar remains under medical supervision while recovering from an illness.
