00:00Love it.
00:00I've just got to take some tablets as well, hope that's OK.
00:03Yeah, of course.
00:04Yeah, no worries.
00:08So I actually have cystic fibrosis.
00:10OK.
00:11What is it, if you don't mind me asking?
00:13Yeah.
00:14It's a lifelong condition.
00:15You're born with it.
00:16There's no cure.
00:17It's a deteriorating condition.
00:18So I was quite a healthy child up until I was about seven.
00:23OK.
00:23I was suffering from a chest infection that lasted about three years,
00:26and I was in hospital every three months.
00:31Having cystic fibrosis is a really isolating condition,
00:34because when you go into hospital, you're in your own cubicle
00:37room due to cross infection.
00:38You're physically poorly, but then you're mentally stuck in a box.
00:42It's like prison.
00:44I'm taking about 30 tablets a day, and I do different physiotherapy,
00:48but as you get older, maybe there'll be spells in hospital
00:51or battling a new chest infection or FOMO.
00:54Fear of missing out is not a great one for me.
00:56My parents were told that I'd only live until I was 16.
00:59I think I have mentally blocked it out as a way of coping.
01:30But whatever that was going through,
01:44my parents were telling them that,
02:06You
