00:00I remember everything about it.
00:02Freddie Flintoff has been in a crash.
00:05It's so vivid.
00:07These injuries are life-altering.
00:11This is what I'm left with.
00:16I've lived under the radar for seven months.
00:19One of the real frustrations was the speculation.
00:22That's why I'm doing this now.
00:24What actually happened?
00:26Should I call you Freddie or Andrew?
00:30I was a shy kid growing up.
00:32I started calling me Fred.
00:35And then I found this alter ego.
00:37One half was a solid man,
00:40and the other half was a child.
00:42No one had as much talent as Freddie.
00:45He was incredible.
00:47He gave us these images
00:49which are ingrained in our sporting psyche.
00:54There was just something about him that was different.
00:57As soon as someone says that's impossible,
01:00then that makes him fly.
01:03All of a sudden, your life can change like that.
01:09That pressure, it's not something I've ever seen other men talk about
01:12until Fred spoke about it.
01:14It was me against me.
01:17Everyone wants more.
01:18You're just a commodity.
01:21I won't say embracing them,
01:22but it looks very wide and scarred.
01:26It's almost like a reset.
01:28I'm trying to find out what I am now.
01:34I've always seemed to be able to flick a switch.
01:37I've got to find that switch again.
