00:08Our show premiered on September 9th, 2019
00:12with the help of some great friends.
00:14Over the next five and a half years,
00:15we have made 999 episodes.
00:18I cannot believe today marks the 1,000th.
00:20It's crazy.
00:22Yeah.
00:23And we have met some hugely talented people,
00:25tons of big stars and inspiring everyday heroes.
00:28We created a community and supported each other
00:31through a lot of ups and downs,
00:33a lot of ups and downs personally as well.
00:35We went through a pandemic together.
00:37Who can say that?
00:38We sent our audience to London, to Australia,
00:41and through the NBC gift shop here at 30 Rock.
00:43I hosted the show with an eye patch
00:46and with my leg in a cast,
00:48and those were two different shows.
00:49Cause that's who I am.
00:52My producers learned that I wasn't joking
00:54when I told them that I love magic like a 10 year old,
00:56and that I also can't cook.
00:58I told them in the beginning, still can't cook.
01:00We dove into the stories behind your favorite songs,
01:03my favorite songs.
01:04We've gone big for Halloween.
01:06Those have been some of my favorite episodes
01:07and even bigger for Christmas.
01:09I love Christmas.
01:10We had puppies and horses.
01:12And thanks to Joel McHale,
01:14kittens and ducklings and chicks and piglets.
01:17Oh my.
01:17We took a cross country bus tour.
01:20Uh, then we moved the show to New York City.
01:26I love it here.
01:27We brought you some rad humans, good neighbors,
01:31the best in class and what I'm liking.
01:33We did shows from the White House, from my Montana ranch,
01:37from a backyard and from the rooftop here at 30 Rock.
01:40Uh, for 1,000 episodes, we have laughed together.
01:43We have cried together with beautiful stories,
01:45sang together with some people, danced together,
01:47celebrated and competed together.
01:49I've lost alone a lot.
01:52Um, and along, it's okay.
01:54Um, and along the way we found comfort, um, in one another.
01:57Um, and looking back, we are all incredibly proud
01:59of what we built and the community we've created.
02:02I'm super proud of my whole crew, my band,
02:05everybody has done such an incredible job.
02:09We started with the intention of making connections,
02:11of bringing people together.
02:12And it feels like we've been doing just that.
02:14Um, and even though I still can't cook,
02:17sorry kids, thank you Postmates.
02:18Uh, I am grateful to everyone who has been a part
02:21of this journey.
