00:02Hello I'm Twiggy and I'd like to welcome you to the behind the scenes to my Hello Luxe shoot.
00:11What is luxury to me? Luxury is going to a spa and relaxing and then going into a Pilates class,
00:22I love that. You go off into another world. Luxury is, oh my other favorite thing is going
00:29into a beautiful fabric shop because I love making clothes. So if I go into a fabric shop
00:35that's full of luxury fabrics, cashmeres and silks and satins and even sequins. I like that.
00:42I love this. Shiny. That's luxury. Oh and dark chocolate. What do I feel less guilty about
00:53splurging on? I'm not a big splurger actually. If I see something I like I'll buy it because I always
01:02find that the best things I find clothes wise in my wardrobe and shoe wise is when I'm out looking
01:09for something else or going out to buy food and I see something and it's like oh my god I've
01:14got
01:14to have it. If I go out specifically to look for something I never find it. I think that happens
01:20to most people doesn't it. If I could relive one day in the past what would it be? I'm going
01:28to do two.
01:29The first would be when I gave birth to my daughter Carly because although it was obviously a little bit
01:37painful it was such a joyous experience and I'll never forget that day as long as I live.
01:42And it was a few years ago now and she's my best friend now. And the second would be when
01:50I married
01:51my husband Lee. We got married in Sag Harbor on Long Island in America under a weeping willow tree
02:01and it was very romantic and it was the most joyous day.
02:04What's something I love about being in my 70s that I never expected? That I'm not nervous about
02:13saying no to somebody that I used to be. I don't suffer fools gladly. I always speak up for myself
02:22because I've learned it's better to. The nicest thing about being in my 70s is my grandchildren.
02:29I get to play with them. What advice would I give the young Twiggy?
02:36Be a bit braver. I was quite brave actually when I look back and certainly when I see myself in
02:44the
02:44documentary that Sadie Frost just made of my life. I can remember feeling quite nervous about doing
02:50things and I think if I had advice to other young people it would be go for it and if
02:55you really want
02:56to do something do it. Even if you think you can't because I didn't think I could do a lot
03:01of things.
03:01I didn't think I could go on Broadway and sing and dance in front of 2,000 people a night.
03:08But I did. I did it and it was wonderful. An amazing experience.
