00:04To celebrate their anniversary, we're looking back at what happened on their big day.
00:08It wasn't an easy road to romance.
00:10In fact, the couple tied the knot 35 years after their first meeting
00:13and were forced to push back their wedding after a sudden death.
00:16Buckingham Palace had originally announced Charles and Camilla's plans to marry on the 8th of April that year,
00:20but it was postponed by a day so Charles could represent the late Queen
00:23at Pope John Paul II's funeral in the Vatican City.
00:26But the two made it official in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall,
00:29followed by a religious blessing at St George's Chapel.
00:31The rest, as they say, is history, and Hello's Rural Editor Emily Nash says they're the perfect match.
00:36I think they have so much fun together, and you can really see what a support Queen Camilla is to
00:41King Charles.
00:42He has a really difficult job, and to do it at the age that he's at,
00:47and to remain so visible while undergoing cancer treatment,
00:50he really needs someone solid, dependable, he really understands him,
00:55and most importantly, can make him laugh.
00:57I don't think he'd be the success that he is without Queen Camilla at his side.
