00:06Well thank you guys so much. Prince Harry, let's start with you. If you could just have a drink of
00:14water please.
00:17If you could just give us all a little bit of the genesis of the families that we just heard
00:21from and how they intersected with your work at the Archwell Foundation.
00:24I think it's been about a year now.
00:27Thanks for starting with me. Shared experience. We know it's not easy for you guys to be here so thank
00:34you very much.
00:36In answer to your question, if I can answer it. I think once we started to realise how many people,
00:43how many families, how many parents there were in the US but also around the world that have suffered the
00:51greatest loss.
00:53We quickly realised that there was no one really in this space bringing them together. And yes, a huge part
01:00of this is to be working with Matthew and his team towards the ultimate solution.
01:06But at the same time bringing these parents together through Zoom was something which we knew was needed but then
01:17to see the impact and the effect it was having on every single one of them.
01:19And to know that they didn't have prior opportunity or space to be able to learn that they are not
01:28the only person, that they are not alone in this.
01:30You know, rather than sitting there, he's a chicken farmer, he's wearing ostrich boots, and he lives in the middle
01:37of nowhere.
01:39And yet, as a parent, he's somehow expected to navigate his way around social media for these kids.
01:46So, I think for us, for myself and my wife, again, with kids growing up in a digital age, for
01:55us the priority here is to, again, turn pain into purpose.
01:59And provide as much support as well as a spotlight and a platform for these parents to come together, to
02:06heal together, to grieve together, but also to collectively focus on solutions so that no other family anywhere has to
02:15go through what they've been through.
02:16It just doesn't seem fair.
02:17Yeah.
02:18Megan, what was your reaction?
