00:03My name's Hannah, co-founder and CEO of a self-care brand called Clevver.
00:07We make these indulgent, instant superfood lattes that help with energy, stress, and sleep.
00:11My co-founder and I started Clevver in 2016.
00:13We had this hand-built, scrappy coffee bar where we'd make these lattes inspired by holistic ingredients from around the
00:19world.
00:20People fell in love with the drinks and really wanted to make them at home.
00:22So we combined all the ingredients together and created Clevver.
00:25During the week, we were fulfilling orders from our garage, blending up Clevver at a shared commercial kitchen.
00:30And then on the weekends, we'd pop up with our bar because we had zero marketing budget.
00:33Three years ago, everything changed.
00:36None other than Megan, the Duchess of Sussex, started drinking our lattes.
00:39Not only did she love the product, she was extremely passionate about supporting female founders, our sustainable sourcing, and our
00:45good justice give back.
00:46Megan ended up becoming our first investor, advisor, and biggest Clevver advocate.
00:50She even sent our turmeric latte to France.
00:53And a few days later, I opened my phone to see Oprah herself making our golden super latte in her
00:58own kitchen.
00:59No big deal.
01:00We lost it.
01:02Our small but mighty team was 100% not ready for this and ended up selling out for two months.
01:07We then grew our team, launched amazing new products, and started to dip our toe into retail.
01:11We've now served over 6 million lattes, and we owe so much of that to the power of women uplifting
01:16women,
01:17especially in business where only 2% of venture funding goes to female-founded brands.
01:21We have big plans for the future and are committed to building Clevver for youth.
