00:00What was the atmosphere like in Westminster? How are you feeling?
00:04I found that experience absolutely incredible. I'm still trying to process the fact that I was
00:11inside the Abbey on such a historic occasion. It was solemn, it was dignified, it was incredibly
00:19beautiful. Particularly as the coffin was brought in, you had this incredible music from the choir
00:26unaccompanied and just this silence as the coffin bearers came through and it was just an absolute
00:33privilege to be part of it. You've seen the family throughout the past 10 days, how did they appear
00:39today? I thought the royal family were remarkably composed, they looked very solemn, they looked very
00:46sad but they obviously you know were putting on a brave face for this occasion and considering they
00:53walked behind the coffin, many of them in procession and then had the eyes of the world on them. They
00:58did incredibly well. And why do you think Prince William and Princess Kate made the decision to
01:03include Prince George and Princess Charlotte because this is the first time we've seen them?
01:08I think William and Kate's decision to bring George and Charlotte was partly because this was about them
01:15honouring their great-grandmother as members of her family and you know her beloved great-grandchildren
01:20which she was very proud but it also sent a message of unity and continuity which is so important to
01:27the monarchy. This was also about showing the king, his heir Prince William and then also Prince George
01:34who was now second in line to the throne and I think that really sends a symbol of continuity out
01:40to the
01:41world. And do you think it would have been a difficult decision for them to make? I think William and
01:45Kate
01:46will have thought long and hard about this. Obviously they're very mindful of their children's privacy
01:50and William having gone through the funeral of his own mother at a young age and understanding
01:56the difficulties that that caused him and his brother will have been very careful about this
02:02decision. I think it's really interesting that they chose to walk alongside the children in the
02:06procession. On the order of service we understood that the children would be walking behind their
02:11parents but in fact they walked four abreast and I think that was a very protective gesture from
02:17William and Kate. And where do you think Prince Louis was? Do you think he would have watched the
02:21ceremony at all? I think Prince Louis at four years old is probably too young to really understand
02:28what has been going on over the past 10 days. I imagine he was being very well looked after
02:33perhaps by the nanny that the the Prince and Princess of Wales have had for many years but I don't
02:41think
02:41he will have been watching. I imagine it's quite a difficult thing to explain particularly if your
02:45parents aren't around. And will we see the royal family within the next seven days or do you think
02:51they're going to really take this time now after this 10 day mourning period to kind of reflect and recover
02:57from that? The last 10 days have been incredibly intense for the king in particular but the wider
03:03royal family and although the funeral is over now we are going to have another seven days of royal
03:10mourning and that means we won't see them going about their business in the way they normally do
03:14carrying out engagements, making public appearances. I think we're going to have a period of reflection
03:20and some time for them to recover from what's been a very difficult personal moment in their lives.
03:26And I know we just touched on that but what do you think is next for King Charles and the
03:30Queen
03:31Consort Camilla? Well King Charles of course has a coronation to look forward to and to plan. There's
03:38no indication yet of when that might happen but I would imagine it will happen sometime in the next
03:43six months. There were due to be tours this autumn, whether or not any of those will still go ahead
03:49remains to be seen. There will be lots of changes going on behind the scenes within the royal household
03:54and I think that they will be wanting to get used to their new situation and all of those changes
04:01and taking a little bit of time over those.
