00:00Everyone associates the role Sandy with Olivia Newton-Jean. You can't not.
00:05So I think when I got the role, I couldn't help but think of the icon, the legend that I
00:11was going to be following.
00:12So, yeah, today is an incredibly sad day.
00:16So I found out in the interval. So then I went down and did the second act, which hopefully devoted
00:22to is actually in the second act.
00:24So, yeah, that was such a mixed bag of emotions to sing that song.
00:33But I actually am really happy that I knew because I will never sing it the same now.
00:38Like tonight was such a special moment.
00:41And we made a statement at the end of the show and you could just hear people's, you know, immediate
00:48responses, reactions to the news.
00:50And, you know, she has so many fans. She has so many people that love her, love what she what
00:55she did.
00:57And, you know, the world that she's kind of created, you know, of Greece, like so many people love the
01:02show.
01:02So many people relate to it. And so, yeah, it was I think some people, a lot of the audience
01:08didn't know.
01:10So, yeah, it was really unfortunate to have to to bear the news to them going on stage.
01:17I felt so much pressure because because I had known the news I found out just before I felt pressure
01:23to do it perfect.
01:24She's perfection. You know, the way she performed Sandy, the way she was Sandy, you know, is perfection.
01:31And and I definitely hold responsibility now in making sure that I, you know, continue to to wave that Sandy
01:40flag.
