00:01I just want to send a message to our leaders in Washington this morning.
00:06How many people, how many kids have to die before you're going to do something?
00:11We all want to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
00:16But how about the freedom to drop your kids off at school in the morning,
00:22knowing that you're going to be picking them up after school?
00:24And how about being brave enough to stand up to the gun lobby,
00:30the same gun lobby that keeps telling us that strong laws are not going to do anything about gun violence.
00:37And all I'm saying is, what if they could save a person's life?
00:42What if it could save a kid's life?
00:44Isn't it just worth a try at this point?
