00:08In England, well anywhere actually, it's only on episode two, but there's already like loads
00:13and loads of twists and turns. Is it going to be like that the whole way through?
00:17The whole way through. It's twisty and it's turny, it's crazy. I didn't know who'd done it
00:22basically, so we got the scripts consecutively and it was like we were peeling the layers of
00:27the onion. It turns out that the individual that done it knew all along, but didn't tell any of us,
00:35which is brilliant, which is so good. You know, what a secret to have to keep.
00:39But yeah, we didn't know. But yes, twists and turns, because you know, it's a red herring left
00:45and right, isn't it? One minute you'll think it's this person and then something else happens and
00:49you're diverted and then you're onto that person. And then by the time you get to the end, you're
00:53like, oh wait, at one point I did think it was this person, but I've forgotten with all the,
00:57with the journey. Yeah. But you reckon you clocked it quite early as to who? I actually,
01:03I clocked it with my very first scene that I shot in series three. Your character as well,
01:13it appears that she's harboring some secrets like from it, some darkness secrets. Are they
01:20personal secrets? Is it work orientated? Can you? Well, I mean, I think for, I think for Jen,
01:26work is personal. It's all kind of intertwined, which may be some of the difficulty. I don't know
01:32how as a flow, you know, they become so close to these families that are going through the absolute
01:38worst thing that they've ever experienced. And she's so empathetic that it gets, sometimes the
01:44lines get a little blurred, I think. Um, and some things happened in her past with, in her work
01:50that's knocked her confidence and that will be revealed, um, later in the series. But that's what,
01:58she's definitely lost her confidence in her ability to do her job, which is a shame because actually
02:04she's, she's, she's so hard on herself and I think she's really good at her job.
02:08I was going to say about season four, potentially season four. I don't know how it works, but at the
02:12minute, obviously you've got season three, it's getting really good reviews. It's getting really
02:16good, good figures. When do you discover whether season four would be picked up? And is this something
02:22that you would definitely be interested in doing? Oh my gosh. I'm so honest to get a series four.
02:28I've enjoyed playing Jen so much. It's been such a brilliant challenge for me. And it's nice because
02:33it shoots in Manchester and Morecambe, uh, but you know, I'm from Manchester, so it's nice to get to
02:38go back and be with family. And I always love going back to Manchester to work. Um, and I'd be,
02:43I'd just be really disappointed if we didn't get to do another one, because I've just started with Jen,
02:47it feels like. First off, going from LA to filming in the UK, that always brings what with the weather
02:53and
02:53everything else, uh, makes it, makes it a little challenging, but then filming something that is
02:57really dark and is really sort of somber, like, how does that affect you? It's interesting because,
03:04you know, we definitely, we take it on board and, you know, there are certain scenes that are heavier
03:10than others and you really feel the power of that, but you don't carry it around like a weight because
03:17it isn't real, thank goodness. And it is, we're just at work. And, uh, and we just were able to
03:23really, the family, all the actors that played the Rahman family, we had so much fun with them.
03:29We were, we were laughing and singing and dancing. We had a playlist. We just had such a good time.
03:34So we, so we don't, we didn't, we were able to shed the weight of it pretty easily, actually.
03:39Thank goodness, because it would be really, uh, hard carrying that around.
