00:04Having the Countess at Wessex here today has been brilliant. She's been really invested in the
00:09student bandmaster's development. She was in one of our lessons earlier and giving us her feedback
00:13and thoughts on the development of the bandmaster trays. We might be having some dance lessons
00:19thrown in but her enthusiasm for us as a course and the future leaders of the court, you can see
00:27it in her, the way she talks to us, she's so passionate and for us to see that from our
00:31colonel in chief is inspiring for us as the student bandmasters going forward. To have this new higher
00:36training wing is more than we could have wished for a student bandmasters. The higher training wing
00:41includes brand new facilities, dedicated classrooms and our own space for our personal development.
00:47Throughout the whole relocation of the Royal Military School of Music, to have the support of the Royal
00:53School of Military Engineering has been fantastic and one that certainly we at the higher training
00:57wing are extremely grateful for. Within British Army Music we have 14 bands and we can take a vast
01:04amount of different instruments and so basically if you're a musician we probably have a job for you
01:08which you can do change the guard, march in band and even sit down concerts.
