00:01So quick reminder, today is the 5th of November. Remember remember the 5th of
00:06November where dogs shouldn't be forgotten about. Not exactly the right
00:10rhyme but for many dogs it could be their first time experiencing fireworks
00:15and fireworks can be extremely stressful for dogs. So here are a few tips to help
00:20them keep calm tonight. Before it gets dark take them for a good walk so that
00:25they're a little bit more tired. Make sure the curtains, windows and doors are
00:28all closed and this helps muffle the sound. A good tip is to leave the TV on or the
00:33radio or even find a Spotify playlist especially for dogs and fireworks. I mean
00:37if you've got a chew toy prep it and get them excited about it and then as
00:40everything kicks off give it to them and hopefully it'll be a good distraction.
00:44But keep an eye on them, keep on comforting them and have a lovely evening.
