00:01Hello everybody it's Ruth Langsford here and Hello Magazine have asked me to show
00:05you what's in my bag and there's a very special reason for this because this
00:09actually is my bag not just my bag but the bag that I have designed for my
00:15range at QVC and I am so excited about it I love a good handbag but I want a
00:21really practical handbag so this was my opportunity to have exactly the bag that
00:25I want with all the zips I want all the pockets I want and this is it I
00:30absolutely love it but the most important thing is how much you can get in
00:34it so let me show you what is in my bag right so in the middle section here look
00:40at the size of my purse and now you'll know why I need a big handbag that's my
00:44purse like a small clutch bag love the color as well can always find it phone
00:48of course sunglasses I always need them summer and winter you know sunny day in
00:54the car need my sunglasses now I've got a very small makeup bag so I actually
00:59don't wear a lot of makeup when I'm not working so I tend to have just a miniature
01:04size of the perfume I use which is Molecule by the way you know that one
01:08that smells different on everybody and then I have a lot of lip stuff now I like
01:12the Gale Heyman range from QVC because they do a lip buffer so if your lips are a
01:17bit dry you kind of buff them up with this and then you use the lip lift look at
01:23this one with the animal print case the lip lift so it's a really lovely balm and
01:28then I have a little mirror that's for my lovely friend Donna May with all her
01:32lovely makeup and a small mascara because I always need mascara that's the
01:37benefit one actually which you can also get at QVC what else have we got here
01:42keys of course we all have those car keys house keys keys and a charger that's the
01:48sign of modern times we always need our charger then in this one in this pocket at
01:53the back all practical things in here masks fold-up umbrella headache tablets
02:02tissues what's this oh I don't laugh I always take my own tea bags around to me
02:07because I like Earl Grey tea and not everybody has it so I carry my own tea
02:12bags and if you are a lady of a certain age like me when you have those little warm
02:17moments a portable fan literally take this everywhere with me you can prop it up
02:23on the table in a restaurant wherever it's quite discreet Gok Wan told me about
02:27those actually he bought me my first one that's my comb comb brush flat poo bags
02:34which appear everywhere every bag every coat pocket I've got and then hand cream I
02:39always like to have a hand cream so I get very dry and hands cores at QVC do
02:45beautiful really natural products this is their almond oil and she butter and hand
02:50cream it smells delicious and a hand sanitizer this is the neon one I love
02:56neon products because they just smell so beautiful I've got lots of their candles
02:59and bath oils and things that's their hand sanitizer then finally the back pocket
03:06another zip now I always like to have a book on my Kindle with me at the moment
03:11I've got Jackie Cadler my gorgeous co-presenter and friend I've got her book
03:15happy family which I'm halfway through I need to hurry up because the second one is
03:19due out the newest one is due out any minute always have one of my scarves with me and
03:24especially we go out early in the morning at the moment it's a bit chilly isn't it so
03:28this is my animal print scarf at QVC laptop iPad whatever it is you have and
03:35mine is quite heavy because I have the keyboard in there as well so that was
03:38comes with me hence the charger and oh now this is new I discovered this looks
03:45called hydrate that's a water bottle so look how flat and square that is because
03:50normally they're round and they're quite hard to fit in your bag saw this is an
03:53advert on Instagram I don't normally buy things on Instagram but saw that and
03:58thought that is brilliant it just sits flat in your bag or stand it whichever way you
04:02want really so that's called hydrate as you can see I haven't hydrated yet I want to
04:08drink some of that water so that's it I think that's everything in my bag as you
04:11can see it is a lot I don't think I'm unusual I think most of my friends carry
04:16this kind of stuff with them so this is the black bag I also have it in this
04:21lovely neutral taupe color and gorgeous rich burgundy which is a favorite color
04:28in my leather jackets or my faux leather jackets so there it is that's what's in
04:33my bag I hope you've enjoyed having a rummage around with me with Hello
