00:00So it's Best Friend Day and I want to talk about the importance of friendship, especially women friends.
00:06I have great men friends as well, but let me focus on the girls today.
00:10So this is a photograph that just happened.
00:14These are my friends from Santa Barbara.
00:17One of them there, Corinna, I have known since I was about 15 or 16.
00:21The others I have known for 33 years.
00:25I can't believe it.
00:26And what I particularly remember about these friends is that I don't have to see them very often,
00:31but whenever we see each other, we just reconnect.
00:35It's like it was yesterday.
00:36And I remember when I went through a terrible divorce with David Flynn and I was single and they were
00:42all married and happy and I was miserable,
00:44that they put together a 40th birthday for me.
00:47Olivia Newton-John was there as well.
00:49She's part of that group normally.
00:51And I couldn't believe it.
00:53They wouldn't have any of their men there.
00:54They wanted me to feel solidarity of all the women.
00:57And we get together and we don't get together as often as we should, but they're really very great friends.
01:04One of them, actually, Diane, hosted my wedding to James Keach because she knew how happy I'd been.
01:11And she knew that I didn't have any money, couldn't afford a wedding.
01:15And so she gave me this beautiful, beautiful wedding, which I'll never forget.
01:19And, yeah, you know, best friends.
01:23And then, of course, Sherry.
01:24Another one called Werner.
01:26I have one in England called Teresa.
01:28It'd be awful if I left anybody out, wouldn't it?
01:31But those are my closest, closest friends.
01:33And, of course, my best friends on the planet, my sisters, Annie and Sal.
