00:42real parenting that's right rosie um for so many people diana really changed the way that members
00:48of the royal family appear as parents in public and we have all these wonderful images of her having
00:53loads of fun with william and harry and it's clear from from the images and the footage just how
00:58devoted she was to them and i think they have talked over the years as well about how she would
01:03engulf them in hugs there was a huge amount of warmth and affection and fun a lot of fun and

01:09of mischief too i'm sure she would have been a doting grandmother so how do they keep her memory alive

01:20for their children we've had harry talking about how archie has started to say grandma is one of his first

01:36to granny diana with charlotte saying very touchingly papa misses you and i think that
01:42it's something they're very keen for their children to grow up knowing about their mother's life
01:47and what she would have been like as a granny and let's not forget william has said she would
01:51have been a nightmare granny in some ways um turning up during bath time getting water everywhere
01:56and then leaving again and while it's incredibly sad that diana didn't get to meet these beautiful
02:01grandchildren it's so lovely that the boys are keeping her memory alive for them definitely
02:06and how do you think that she would feel about harry's move it's impossible to say uh what diana
02:12would have thought of the events of the past year but we do know that she believed in following
02:16her heart she believed in being true to herself particularly at the end of her life towards the
02:22end of her life she was very keen about you know really going to do the things that she wanted
02:27to do
02:28promoting the causes that she felt passionately about and making her life her own and of course
02:34she had such love and support for her sons we can only imagine she would have been hugely supportive
