00:09You join us on the day of the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral in Windsor on what's set to be a

00:14for the Queen who was married to Prince Philip for 73 years. Of course she will be joined by
00:19the closest members of the Royal Family for the service. Our Royal Editor Emily Nash was in
00:24Windsor as preparations got underway. I've just arrived in Windsor ahead of the Duke
00:29of Edinburgh's funeral later today and what struck me is that it's an incredibly
00:33sunny day, there's not a cloud in the sky and it's very peaceful here. There are a
00:37few well-wishers gathering but everyone is being very respectful of the wishes for
00:42the members of the public to stay away and watch the ceremony at home. That said
00:47there's a huge media presence here. Myself and others have collected our
00:51accreditation. We'll be going into the castle later on and watching from inside
00:57so I'll be back later on to tell you a bit more about how the day has gone.
01:02Millions of people tuned in to watch the service on television and many would agree
01:06that it was an extremely moving tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh's extraordinary
01:09life. Emily was able to send us her thoughts following the service at Windsor
01:13Castle. So I've just come out of Windsor Castle at the end of quite a long day having
01:20watched the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral it was an incredibly moving service. There
01:25were lots of personal elements, lots of nods to his love of the sea, of his time in
01:30the Royal Navy and of course his long service to the Queen and to the nation as a
01:37whole. What really struck me was the image of the Queen sitting alone in her
01:44stall there in the choir. I think that's something that's going to resonate with
01:48people all over the UK and perhaps further afield this year because of the very sad
01:53nature of funerals during the pandemic and the fact that people aren't able to
01:58sit close to their loved ones in a way that they would want to and I think no
02:02one can have failed to have been moved by that today. I think it was incredibly
02:06touching to see William and Harry having a conversation as they walk back up Chapel
02:11Hill following the ceremony. I think that will have brought comfort to the Queen and it's
02:16obviously something that's very encouraging given the difficult situation the
02:21family have found themselves in over the past couple of years. It's been a very sad day for
