00:08I've been wrestling with the idea for the past few days about whether I should do this video
00:13and then finally, last night I thought, well, for my own peace of mind I should.
00:19On Monday I posted a photo in honour of Zach's birthday and I wrote a birthday message underneath.
00:27Within about 8 minutes of the photo being posted, I had about 70% of the comments hurling abuse and
00:38being horrid
00:38and basically bullying someone on my page.
00:44It is the first time in my entire Instagram life that I have had to turn off the comments on
00:51my page.
00:53I have never been an Instagram page that encourages that.
00:57I have never been an Instagram page that likes that toxic vibe.
01:02I have only been an Instagram page that tries to bring some light and tries to be positive and tries
01:10to make people smile.
01:14I will not allow that behaviour on my page.
01:20I'm not about that.
01:22It makes me upset.
01:23It makes me sad that during this time when we really all need to be together,
01:29we need to be supporting one another.
01:31We need to be loving one another.
01:32The world is aching and the world is dying and a few of you decided to bully for no reason.
01:44I'm 24 years old.
01:47I have been working since I was 17 years old.
01:50I have been earning money since I was 17 years old.
01:53I became an adult when I was 18 years old and I started paying taxes when I was 18 years
01:58old.
01:59I'll underline this fact.
02:01I am 24 years old.
02:03I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love.
02:07And I would never in my life ever, ever tell anyone who they can and cannot love.
02:13It is not your place.
02:16And really it has nothing to do with you.
02:18So if those rules are something that you do not like, then please unfollow me.
02:26Because the abuse that you throw at him is abuse that you're throwing at me.
02:32And I don't want those followers.
02:37And I don't want to have to be protecting my comments every time I post a picture of him.
