00:00Strictly is insane. Oh my gosh am I having the time of my life and making the
00:04most of it. I mean it has a very special place in the heart of the entire nation
00:08so to be a part of that is such a privilege, it's such an honour. I can't
00:12believe I'm there and I think what I underestimated was just how much of a
00:16fun bubble it would be to be inside. I feel like I use so many cliches every
00:18day like I'm on a journey it's an emotional roller coaster but the truth
00:22is it really really is because you just get to dance every day which is the
00:27most fun thing to do that makes you so happy and and yeah and meet all these
00:31amazing people who have become friends. Graziano is so sweet I think because of
00:39the way he looks he looks like Jon Snow from Game of Thrones he's quite fiery he
00:44looks like Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean who's quite fiery
00:47now he's fiery when he dances but actually as as a person he's very kind
00:52he's very gentle he's very sweet. Before we went out for the very first
00:57dance which I guess is the most nerve-wracking because you're just
01:00getting the lay of the land you know you don't know that show you don't know that
01:02floor you never danced on it really in front of an audience probably before and
01:06he Graziano was sort of just holding my face and going you are great you're
01:10gonna be amazing and the thing is I had been nervous the day before in dress
01:14rehearsals because I just couldn't get my bearings on that floor come out of a
01:17spinner didn't know which way was the front it was so unfamiliar to me my shoes
01:20felt a bit different on the floor so all of that really really worried me and it made me a
01:25ball of nerves I went to bed that night got a really good night's sleep and I
01:30came back and the nerves had gone and all it was was excitement pure excitement I
01:33loved every second of doing that first dance
01:38I thought before I started this competition that I would prefer Latin
01:42dancers because I like the sexiness I love the sensuality I love Latin America
01:48however since I've started doing the waltz and bearing in mind the very first time
01:52I've done any ballroom dancing in my life I actually think I really like it you
01:55know I really like that it's slow but it's romantic it's more girly and
02:00feminine and you're being swept around like a princess I didn't know that I
02:04would I would like that so much but I really do and you tell a story you know
02:07it's very narrative driven and you imagine what it is that you're trying to
02:11convey and you try and do that for your body if I was in the final man it's not I
02:16shouldn't be talking about things like that but if it was happened the person I'd have in the
02:20audience it would be my mum obviously it'd be my mum
