00:00It is really nice to be joining Hello as a Columnist, it's nice to be able to put an opinion
00:05across on a show that I absolutely love and have been a part of for such a long time.
00:09I can be open, honest, frank, positive and give the couples encouragement should they read what I have to say
00:15and I'm looking forward to it.
00:17I normally see the winner within the first week, give or take, I've only missed a few of the winners.
00:22Right from when you meet the cast for the first time, you see how people carry themselves, how they just
00:27move in general movement.
00:29You can pretty much pick who are going to be able, who are not going to be able.
00:34Some always shine as the weeks go on and I think that's what we're looking for as punters of the
00:40show.
00:41You want to see people start, wherever they start, if it's good or bad, you want to see them go
00:45wow.
00:46You want to see people that just embrace the whole situation and that's what Strictly can do for you.
00:51If you get stuck in and really just love the show and love being a part of it, obviously we
00:56all want to win when we're on it.
00:58But ultimately, it's about the time you have on the show and the time you spend with your partner and
01:02the relationship you have with the contestants.
01:04That's the exciting thing and that's, I think, what makes a show like Strictly so good.
01:08To the class of 2018, you've got to enjoy the show, you've got to have yourselves a ball line, embrace
01:15the whole, everybody, embrace everybody
01:18because it's a once in a lifetime maturity and I tell you what, next year you might be sitting there
01:22thinking,
01:22I wish I was still on that show like most of the contestants are.
01:25So enjoy it, get stuck in, give it your 100% and listen to your partner, they know best.
