00:12It was there that she began to sing and act, attending a performing arts high school and working with local

00:17After graduating college, where she focused on musicals, her mum suggested that she try her hand at a reality TV
00:23singing show called Popstars.
00:24The result was the short-lived girl group Eden's Crush, but Scherzinger had now had a taste of fame and
00:31soon joined another all-female band that was forming, the Pussycat Dogs.
00:35After six years of making hits with the group, she began a successful solo career and also slowly returned to
00:40acting.
00:41One of her most popular roles to date is as the voice of the title character's mother in the Disney
00:45animated musical, Moana.
