00:00Today we're here at GHD Studio recreating the gorgeous hair that Megan Markle wore on her wedding day.
00:06So to start, I prepped her hair with GHD Root Lift Spray to give lots of fullness and body to
00:13the overall look.
00:15And then through the mid-length and ends, I used the GHD Curl Hold Spray to make sure I get
00:19that extra gloss and holds to my curls.
00:22The hair was smoothed out using the GHD Air Hair Dryer and then using the GHD Soft Curl Ton, a
00:30gentle wave was put through the entire hair.
00:32Once the hair was curled, I brushed through using an oval dressing brush and then using a narrow dressing brush,
00:41added volume at the root area around the crown to give us that fullness that Megan was wearing on the
00:47day.
00:47The hair was then divided into two sections, one at the top, which was pinned out the way, and then
00:53the bottom.
00:54In the bottom section, I gathered the hair into a ponytail at the nape, then applied a small bun ring
01:02that matched the colour of the model's hair.
01:04Hair was then loosely pinned around this section by picking up small sections, twisting them in my hand and just
01:11slightly using my fingers to push back.
01:14Once all this hair was pinned around the ring, the top section was then dropped down and again, taking small
01:20pieces of hair and pinning them around the bun ring, the same as I had done with the previous sections.
01:27Finally, the crown area was twisted over and parted into two and then just used to finish pinning around the
01:35ring of the bun.
01:36I made sure that I left two small pieces of hair down at the front because Megan did have this
01:41very soft, undone feel to the look.
01:44To finish, I used Final Fix hairspray by GHD.
01:49I sprayed it onto the narrow dressing brush and then used it just to pull in any flyaway hairs and
01:55help mould the overall shape of the look.
01:57And then finally finished with Final Shine Spray just to give the hair that ultimate glossy look.
