00:01Rachel Stevens admits she's thrown herself in at the deep end after joining the Strictly Come Dancing live tour at
00:06the last minute.
00:07The S Club 7 star, who was runner up on the show back in 2008, has stepped in as a
00:12last gas replacement for Frankie from the Saturdays, who's pregnant.
00:16And Stevens is excited, despite only getting the call a week ago.
00:20Yeah, they can't keep me away. I just keep coming back. Yes, I got a call on last Thursday and
00:28Friday I was in rehearsals, looking like I was a blue ass fly, thrown in at the deep end, like
00:37with the constant look of, oh my God, where am I supposed to be?
00:40It's been brilliant and it's lovely, really great people and they've really invited me in, it's lovely, really good.
00:47It's weird because we're doing two of the dances that I did back on the show and when I was
00:54relearning them, I was like, my body kind of knew what I felt like it should know, but my brain
01:00wasn't kind of in conjunction, but it all kind of clicked back into place in the end.
01:03So muscle memory, thank God, kicked in.
01:06Judge Craig Revel Horwood will of course be on the tour, which starts in Birmingham, although his priorities may be
01:11elsewhere.
01:13I find coming on the tour really, really exciting, especially this year because we've got new judges, it's a much
01:19more spectacular show.
01:21It's, as we know, a huge arena production, which I love doing, I direct it and we start writing it
01:26in about June and then it all comes to fruition now.
01:29And it's great because in Birmingham, the January sales are on as well at Harvey Nicks and we love that.
