00:02Well, we've got two timelines. We've got the original cast with the first class cast together.
00:08We've got a scene with two of Charles Xavier's in one scene together.
00:14James McAvoy and Sir Patrick Stewart.
00:16And it's got special effects. It's got lots and lots of characters.
00:20The introduction of my son Quicksilver, which I'm very proud of.
00:24And much, much more.
00:26Amazing. I can't believe some of the costumes. I saw a young Charles Xavier from first class,
00:32who was standing about 10 metres away from a young Charles Xavier from Days of Future Past.
00:36Both of them were women, I might add. And they looked amazing.
00:39So, you know, it's partly just to do with the fact that we do have an incredible bunch of fans
00:43who are so passionate, take it so seriously.
00:46And it is because the stories are worthy of it. The stories going back to the 60s are just inspiring
00:51and exciting.
00:53When I'm talking to young people, and it's young people who are the core of this X-Men audience,
00:59because they often feel like mutants themselves, the way they're treated by adults or by the law.
01:09Maybe we've just hit it at the right time when young people are saying enough's enough.
01:16And that to be in a minority doesn't mean to say that you're against society or that you're an enemy
01:23in some way.
01:24And maybe that's where all come together and riding on the top of all that is the success of these
01:28films is possible.
01:29What was it like for you as Max has been on the big screen with your best friend?
01:32You what, darling?
01:33What was it like for you as Max has been on the big screen with your best friend Patrick?
01:36Oh, well, yes. Lovely. Absolutely lovely.
01:38So many battles waged over the years. And yet none of them like this. Are we destined to destroy each
01:51other? Or can we change who we are and unite? Is the future truly set?
02:00There's a lot of scenes I'm really excited about in the movie. I think the one that was the most
02:03exciting to write and watch shot was the scene between James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart.
02:09To see the old and young Charles Xavier facing off nose to nose and having a real emotional scene together
02:16where like James is, you know, pushed to tears was really special.
02:21So I wake up in my younger body and then what?
02:24Find me. Convince me of all of this.
02:28It's great to take the two of us.
02:30And where do I find you?
02:32A different path. A darker path.
02:35Well then, I was a very different man.
02:40Lead me. Guide me. Be patient with me.
02:50Patience isn't my strongest suit.
03:11I don't want your suffering. I don't want your future.
03:25Please. We need you to hope again.
