00:17It was great to see so much more character work in this film.
00:20Was that fun to play, especially opposite Emma and Jamie?
00:23Yeah, yeah, fantastic actors.
00:24And I think you don't care about the action sequences
00:26unless you care about the people in them.
00:28So you have to have a personal connection with all the characters in those scenes.
00:32And what was that like returning to the tights?
00:34Oh, I love it. I love it. Kind of.
00:37The tights I struggle with, but the rest of it I love.
00:40It was wonderful. The cast was incredible.
00:43The second movie was a lot more fun than the first.
00:47Did it make it easier knowing everyone so much?
00:48I think so. Knowing everybody and trusting everybody so much.
00:52The script was fantastic and so it was really exciting.
00:55I mean, look at Spider-Man and it's like, you know, they get so excited, you know.
00:59And you think about when you were a kid and the type of movies you would go see.
01:03So this is one of those movies where you can bring the whole family and enjoy it and get on
01:08a ride, you know.
01:09And what about working with Emma and Andrew? What about that?
01:11You know what? Very funny. Very good actors and actresses. Actors and actresses as well.
01:16Which is great because when you have a movie like this that's very popcorn friendly.
01:21It's great to have that weight of a really good actor or actress.

02:23So I think it's really great for young people to see that kind of story play out.

02:29And we wanted to make sure that Max was different in the sense of, you know, someone who was sort
02:36of trying to find his way.
02:37When he turns into Electro, it's a vast, you know, contrast.
02:41The Gwen Stacy storyline in the comics is one of the most iconic storylines in all of comics, certainly in
02:47Spider-Man.
02:48And to give life to that was a real pleasure.
02:53And it's, when you have someone like Andrew, you know, actors like Andrew and Emma, it makes my job in
02:58that respect very easy.
