00:03Hi, I'm Lola Eden and we're at the Palladium in London for the BAFTA Television Award Ceremony.
00:32Oh, I love it. I think we're doing great. Look at last night, Saturday night, it was fantastic. You know,
00:38what great entertainment.
00:40Yeah, we're always being knocked, I don't know why. It's good.
00:44Well, I think British Television is down in colour, that's excellent. And HD is happening, NICAM digital stereo. I think
00:52we're doing terribly well.
00:53Well, for me, you know, I mean, getting to do a show like Small Island is indicative of the fact
00:57that there's huge improvement.
00:58You know, I've longingly watched British Television for years, you know, in terms of period dramas and gone,
01:04well, I guess I'll never get to be in one of those. And here I am being nominated for being
01:08in a period drama on BBC One.
01:11So I think that is indicative of the fact that we're making great strides.
01:17If I do win, I'll probably, er, well, I'm quite free to talk about the idea of winning for making
01:23a speech.
01:23So I'll probably just wallow in a bit of self-angst about what I said or didn't say.
01:29And, erm, then go home and give my job a little hug and go, look what I just did.
01:35That sounds really worrying.
01:37I can't believe that that's in it.
01:50Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
01:56And, as I wish some of the Eurovision acts have been over the years, I think it's a natural extension
02:01that we now make it a talent show.
02:03Because you know what? There is some incredible talent around the world at the moment.
02:07I mean, that's why we still make the shows.
02:08Because the world's got talent.
02:10The universe.
02:11Yeah.
02:11And, and, the...
02:12I'm sure Ryan Seacrest will love hosting that show.
02:17The talk is in two lands from a new castle.
02:20Is there...
02:20Would that be something exciting to be the host of the world?
02:23It would, actually, in all seasons, it would be very interesting to see, erm, what talent we could find if
02:29we'd done a world series.
02:30So that was the BAFTA award ceremony. I'm Lola Eden from the Palladium in London.
02:35Thank you very much for doing that.
02:36Yes, ma'am.
02:38Thank you very much.
02:39Thank you very much for that.
02:39Marcene Dunc lado.
02:39What's the thyme?
02:40That is nothing to say about Oregon.
02:40I'm coming to this club.
02:41So during this major development production...
