00:01Hello everyone, this is Brendan's Movie Corner back up here, and now I'm going to be doing another video at
00:07my mom's friends' house, which I'm still currently at my mom's friends' house for right now at the moment.
00:13So, this is going to be another video filming in that house, so, over there at that house, so, yeah.
00:22And guys, I have to do a bad news video for today, in which this is consisting of one of
00:27my VHS tapes that I brought over to my mom's friends' house a couple of days ago, back on Saturday,
00:34which was New Year's Eve of December 31st of last year.
00:40And, yeah, this is regarding of one of my tapes that I brought over there. I have bad news on
00:44this one VHS tape that I'm going to have to do today.
00:48And, guys, this is going to be my very first bad news video on my YouTube channel for the year
00:542023, by the way. This is going to be my first bad news video that I'm going to do for
00:582023 on my channel, so, yeah.
01:03And I have this one VHS tape that I'm going to have to talk about and explain about in this
01:08bad news video for today.
01:10And this is only one VHS tape, by the way, so let's go ahead and get started with this bad
01:16news video, so let's not waste any time, so let's go ahead and get this bad news video started.
01:21So, here we go. Let's get started.
01:25And I have this one VHS tape that I have bad news to tell you all about. Here is...
01:33It is about my 1992 VHS of Lucy's Lost Episodes plus a Tribute to Lucy, a Lucy Double Feature VHS
01:42tape from Good Times Home Video.
01:44This is bad news, guys.
01:48I'll tell you what's the bad news. I'll tell you what's wrong with this VHS tape later on in this
01:53video.
01:54So, let me show you the front.
01:57Oh, there we go.
01:59There's the spine.
02:02Nears the back.
02:04It's released by Good Times Home Video, as you can see right there, and I think this is my only
02:08Good Times tape that I have in my clutch and so far, in my entire VHS clutch and so far,
02:14and it's the only Good Times VHS tape that I have.
02:18In general, so, yeah.
02:22Yeah, as you can see, part of the clamshell is not in the greatest condition. It's got some cracks on
02:26it and stuff like that, as you can see right there.
02:29But, overall, it's in decent condition, though, for the clamshell, but the tape isn't, though.
02:34Which I'll tell you guys why in a minute.
02:39But, anyways, here's the sticker label on here for Good Times Home Video.
02:45And there's no print date on this tape, as usual for Good Times tapes, and though, you can see the
02:52recording tab just broke off.
02:54I broke off the recording tab a few years ago, when I got this off eBay, I think in, like,
02:592015 or so.
03:02And to replace my old copy that I used to have a very long time ago, which was, my old
03:07copy was caseless, as y'all remember.
03:09My old copy of that tape broke a very long time ago.
03:14Which, my old copy was caseless, by the way, which didn't have a, this did not have a clamshell for
03:20my old copy, as y'all remember.
03:22So, sorry for being off topic there, but, um...
03:26So, I, I was just giving out a little bit of some information about my old copy a little bit
03:31there, but that's okay.
03:34Let's go on to talk about this new replacement copy right here, which I've had for a very long time,
03:40since probably 2015, after I replaced my, my old, my old caseless copy that broke a very long time ago.
03:50Now, what's the bad news about this new replacement copy right here?
03:55Well, I've watched it a couple of times recently, and, uh, the bad news is for this tape, this tape
04:03is recorded in LP mode, and, obviously, this tape is having a little bit of some problems, a little bit,
04:13recently, when this happened.
04:16So, one of the reasons is, when I, like, fast forward and rewind this tape, while the tape is playing,
04:25it, the TV just goes blank, and goes to no signal.
04:29That's one of the, that's one, and two, sometimes the, the picture kind of freezes for, on, on my, on
04:37this new Vizio TV, on this TV that's in here, for no reason at all.
04:43And, and, I'll go ahead and show you for proof on why, on what's wrong with this VHS tape, um,
04:52and stuff like that, so, yeah.
04:57Um, so, when I, when I, when, when the tape is playing, when I hit rewind or fast forward on
05:02my Panasonic VCR DVD combo, the picture kind of goes out, and, it goes to, it goes blank for, to
05:09no signal on the, on the TV.
05:14And, second of all, sometimes, when the tape is playing, the picture kind of freezes, like, and, also, the, the
05:22picture kind of gets jumpy a little bit, too.
05:25On my Panasonic VCR DVD combo, on my, on the, on the, the new Vizio TV, which, which, which, which
05:33we had to go get from Target back on Sunday, because I forgot to bring the power cord to my,
05:40to my old Vizio TV, which I, which I, which is, which I currently use for my apartment in my,
05:46in my room there.
05:47So, so, so I couldn't use it in here, because I forgot to bring the power cord onto my old
05:52Vizio TV, but, so, we had to go out to, to Target back on Sunday, to go get a new
05:59TV, so that way I could watch my VHS tapes on and stuff like that while I'm here for, hopefully,
06:05until this weekend, probably.
06:06Hopefully, me and my mom will go back home on Saturday or Sunday, I'm not sure, just, we'll just see
06:12what happens there, but, yeah.
06:14So, I'm going to go ahead and, I'm going to show you what the problem is with this tape here,
06:20I'll show you a little bit here, and, guys, I'm going to have my, I'm going to have the TV
06:24muted for this to prevent copyright claim from this, so, so, YouTube, do not block this bad news video, because,
06:32I have to do a bad news video on this tape, because there's a, there's a couple problems with this
06:37tape.
06:38I don't know what, I don't know how this happened, though, but, I, it's been doing this, like, recently.
06:45Like, it just gets jumpy through, like, like, part, some of the tape, and, the picture, that is, and, it,
06:52and all the, a couple reasons I mentioned here, so, yeah.
06:56So, let me go ahead, and, I'm going to go ahead and put this into my Panasonic VCR DVD combo,
07:01and, I'll show you for proof of what I mean, so, yeah.
07:06And, let me go ahead and set my phone down for a second, while I'll go ahead and mute the
07:11TV, so I don't get copyright for this, so, yeah.
07:20So, anyways, let me go ahead and, um, let me scoot over to the TV here, just a little bit,
07:27I'll face it sideways.
07:30So, anyways, let me go ahead and put this into my, to my Panasonic VCR DVD combo, and, I'll go
07:35ahead and show you for proof of what's wrong with this tape.
07:38So, here we go, let's, let's go ahead and show you for proof.
07:44Ah, let me scoot it back a little bit.
07:48Yeah, it, it, it kind of gets jumpy for, like, a couple seconds.
07:54For, like, a couple seconds after I put the tape into, into the VCR, and then it just goes to
07:59normal.
08:03This is only the best, I can only do the best I can for this bad news video on, showing
08:08you the, what's wrong with this tape.
08:09Or, what's the bad news about it, and stuff like that.
08:16So, it looks like it's playing fine at first.
08:19But, when I was, like, watching it the last couple of times recently, it's been, it's been having some issues
08:25recently.
08:27Because I saw it from there, so, I don't know what the heck is wrong.
08:31It might be the tape is probably worn out or something, I don't know.
08:36Or, it's been used, like, so many times, and just gotten worn out itself over the years, probably, recently, and
08:43stuff like that.
08:44But, I really, I really don't, I really don't know, but, so that's why I have to do this bad
08:50news video on this tape here.
08:56So, yeah.
09:04I don't know if it's, like, jump, it's getting jumpy right now or something, but, I don't know, but.
09:09It looks like it's playing okay.
09:14This is the, this is the part where it is right now on this tape.
09:17It's right in the middle of the tape or near the end of it.

15:23And, also, like I said, again, I broke the recording tab off a few years ago when I got it
15:29from eBay back in 2015, like I said before.
15:33So, I've had this for, like, a very super long time.
15:40So, yeah.
