Wembanyama eager to return to France basketball squad  Victor Wembanyama is already looking forward to putting on the French national team jersey again. Speaking at the Hoops Gambit, a chess and 3x3 basketball tournament in Le Chesnay, Yvelines, the San Antonio Spurs star says he was excited about France's upcoming fixtures, including 2027 World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Sweden and friendlies in Orléans and Belgrade against Serbia. "I'm really looking forward" to rejoining the French national basketball team, Wembanyama says. "It's going to be great, especially at Bercy. It's going to be incredible."
