00:12Becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel was always my dream and then lately it became my motivation
00:18and so I am very proud because it is something that I worked for and I achieved it.
00:24I was in Hungary when I found out that I became an angel and I was in a shock for

00:32but then I called my boyfriend and then I ran downstairs to tell my parents.
00:37They first thought that there's something wrong in the house because I don't usually wake up at 5.30
00:42but then I repeated myself and then my dad gave me a fist bump on my shoulder.

00:49When Dylan found out, even in his Insta post, he was giving a high five to my 14-year-old

00:57because I'm dating a BS angel. I was like, okay, easy.
01:02He surprised me with a dinner with my friends in New York.
01:07It was supposed to be a date night, just him and I, but when I walked in it was all
01:12my friends.
01:13It was, I think, the nicest thing that they ever done to me.
01:16Before I started modeling in Hungary, we didn't have Victoria's Secret,
01:20so I only started learning about the brand and the angels when I started traveling
01:26and they got my attention pretty easy.
01:30I was like, oh, okay, I know what I'm going to do when I grow up
01:33and, for example, Adriana Lima, I mean, she's the bombshell.
01:37She's got the most gorgeous face and body in the whole world, I think, and also dots and crows.
01:44So last year when I came back to the runway after six years,
01:48I didn't think that I would become an angel.
01:51I mean, I was like, okay, this is a good start to build a relationship with the brand
01:55and hopefully they'll consider to even think about me being an angel.
02:00And then, in just like four months, they called me.
02:04It was unbelievable.
02:06All the angels reached out, of course, to congratulate me,
02:08but they were all like, well, it was about time, Barbara.
02:11You took your time.
02:12Now you're here finally.
02:14Well, I've been a model for like 13 years now.
02:18The fashion is always different, so the models are always different.
02:22Before it was more curves, then it was more like more bone-structured girls,
02:27skinnier girls, then more curves again.
02:29Right now it's about the fitness.
02:31I don't feel the need to keep up with my workouts because of Victoria's Secret.
02:35I do it for myself and because that's how I can be the best version of myself.
02:40VS is supporting and embracing me for myself and my personality.
02:46But, of course, it is a big motivation as well, next to the other angels.
