00:30We went to make a video like this, where we wanted to speak, something was telling us not to.
00:36It just didn't feel like the right time.
00:39And we were talking about it and feeling into it and praying about it.
00:44And this feels like the moment.
00:47So here we are.
00:48Not being said.
00:50There is so much to say, and it makes it hard to speak.
00:54It makes it hard to figure out what is right for this specific moment.
00:59Yeah, of course not.
01:01But what does feel important is that we can genuinely say that we are sitting here today
01:09feeling immense gratitude for so many things and so many people and so many things that have happened to us.
01:18Gratitude has saved us.
01:19It has.
01:23And I also feel that it's important as we say that, in that gratitude, it doesn't negate the injustice and
01:32the pain that we have also felt in the last few years.
01:37And we've had to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things, like how could something
01:44like this even happen?
01:46Let alone disguised as a fight for women.
01:51So much to unpack.
01:53And the truth is, reality is, is that there's been a lot of trauma for us to move through as
01:59a family.
02:00And, um, which also makes it hard to speak.
02:05And we, we don't even know if this is the right thing to say.
02:09But we just know we need to share something.
02:13What I will say is that there have been so many painful things that have been spoken into existence.
02:27Untruthful.
02:28Over the last couple years.
02:30And that created so much noise.
02:32And we didn't want to add to the noise.
02:34So we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.
02:43And the truth and the facts have spoken for themselves.
02:49And here we are.

02:53So how are we doing?
02:55How are we doing?
02:55When people see us on the street, how are you?
02:59We are, we are healing.

03:03And if you've ever been through something traumatic, you know that healing isn't linear.
03:07It looks different every day.
03:12And we have had to rethink for ourselves what is real.
03:20And what matters.
03:22It's this.
03:22It's this.
03:23It's the kids.
03:24It's our family.
03:25Yeah.
03:25It's our friends.
03:26It's our community.
03:28Our faith.
03:28Who have been there for us.
03:29It's our faith.

03:30I think we're closer and more devoted and steadfast in our faith than we've ever been.

03:39And also, this, and this has been on both of our hearts.
03:44There were so many of you who, when we didn't have a voice, were our voice.
03:54You had a prayer at the very beginning, which was that you just prayed that people would
03:58have discernment.
03:58Mm-hmm.
04:00And so many of you had discernment.
04:02And you used your intuition and you trusted that.
04:04And you have given your time to fight for us.
04:09And thank you does not feel like enough.
04:12But we're here.
04:14In large part, like, because of so many of you and all of our friends and family.

04:20And one thing that we've learned is that when, when God presses the reset button and everything
04:25else is stripped away, that that's when love shows up.
04:30And I did.
04:30And we feel so loved.

04:34And there is so much more to say.
04:37And we will say it.
04:38That time will come.
04:41But for now, we are going to focus on continuing the healing and hanging out with our kiddos and
04:48enjoying life.
