00:00I get up at 4 o'clock in the morning and I write every day, and it always creeps in
00:04there.
00:08Memories, Dreams and Reflections was the first book I read of his, and I've always been fascinated
00:14with psychology, but also mythology and fairy tales. Where it all began was when I was in my
00:19teens, and I was reading a lot of Carl Jung, all of his books, you know, from alchemy to
00:23his shadow work. It really helped me understand art, but also my own mind and imagination,
00:31and my own dreams and subconscious, and I just was so fascinated with it. I even visited his
00:37house when I was in Zurich. I found out where his house was, I met his grandson, who gave
00:41me a tour of his house, and even his library still smelt like pipe smoke. I felt like my
00:46garden saved me, so it was interesting to hear from his grandson that he took his patients
00:52into the garden. I think that did really influence my life. My grandfather was a poet, he was
01:00a logger, he talked to the trees, he was really close to nature, and I knew how alive nature
01:07was. He was the closest person to me. I lost him when I was 11 years old, so we were
01:11already
01:11talking about mythology before then, and we spoke Finnish together, and just Carl Jung kind
01:16of always reminded me of my grandfather.
01:22He worked, but he was a client. So Leon, why Yeah.
01:22You'd like to think of that.
