00:30I'm going to let everybody in on a little Disney Legends secret.
00:34I'm the one that tells you what you're not supposed to know.
00:37And what I want to say is that Legends get scared too.
00:43I'm scared right now.
00:45But the difference is we do it anyway.
00:48And all of you can do that every single day.
00:56After a few of those auditioning trips, I got the part.
00:59I came out to California to shoot the pilot.
01:01I fell in love with L.A., the beach, the palm trees.
01:04They were awesome.
01:05But it was the sound stage that I lived for.
01:08So when I was told that the show got picked up, I just couldn't wait to get back to stage
01:12nine.
01:13But because Hannah Montana is a pop star, we needed footage of her playing sold-out concerts.
01:19But no one knew who she, a.k.a. mine, was.
01:24So they gave away tickets at the Glendale Mall, where I would have my first free concert.
01:32And the first song I opened with was titled, This Is The Life.
01:42Which of course no one knew.
01:45Because in reality, I was a little girl with a blog wig at the mall, with a big dream.
01:51But in my heart, I was Hannah Montana.
01:59And I was so proud to be.
02:10A little bit of everything has changed since that day.
02:15But at the same time, nothing has changed at all.
02:18I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana because she made my life in so many ways.
02:28This award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing, loyal fans.
02:34And to everyone who has made my dream a reality.
02:39To quote the legend herself, this is the life.
