00:17what's up everyone today we are diving into the forgotten land let me tell you this event can be
00:23a total roller coaster so here's the deal if you try to run this with just one person it's a
00:30huge
00:30gamble whether you finish or not depends entirely on two things how fast your character moves and
00:37where the game decides to hide the bosses if you get unlucky with the spawns it's going to be a
00:42rough
00:43time having just one other active teammate with you makes a world of difference but even then the
00:49real star of the show is movement speed why because you have a brutal five minute timer and you need
00:55to take down 20 bosses that pop up in random spots plus an extra 400 regular monsters along the way
01:01the only relief is that every time you kill a boss the timer gets a little boost but it's just
01:08a few
01:08random seconds so you can't relax now i know what you're thinking 400 normal monsters that's insane
01:15why not just clear them all at once well here's the catch this map it looks small on paper but
01:22trust
01:23me getting from point a to point b is a total headache the pads are tricky there are twists and
01:29turns
01:29everywhere and you can't just run in a straight line every second you spend wandering around is a
01:35second wasted and trust me those seconds add up fast so yeah you could go for the small fries but
01:42the
01:43bosses are where the real priority is now for us gunslingers the fallen angel skill is a lifesaver
01:50here but remember you have to aim it yourself no autopilot in this run i'm prioritizing the bosses
01:57first i learned my lesson the hard way last time i had four teammates who were just on auto follow
02:03and we totally failed the boss count back in my early runs i had no real plan i was just
02:10running around
02:11killing whatever showed up bosses mobs didn't matter big mistake fast forward to the timer almost
02:18hitting zero and guess what bosses start spawning in areas that have zero shortcuts no teleport no easy
02:26way in just a long painful walk to get there in the worst part even after all that running i
02:33still
02:33didn't have enough boss kills to complete the quest i was stuck frustrated and honestly i couldn't even just
02:40stand around waiting for a boss to pop up nearby because who knows how long that would take the
02:46spawn timing is totally random it's not like they show up every few seconds on a schedule you're just
02:53waiting and hoping and that's not a strategy that's a gamble so yeah lesson learned the hard way
02:59you need a plan or this event will eat you alive that hurt so what's the game plan simple don't
03:07run
03:07around like a headless chicken look for the nearest boss and try to trace a path where you can take
03:13down a few of them in one straight line be smart about your route for my setup i'm using the
03:19rune
03:19engine crystal with speed stats some armor special skills to boost me even more and i never leave town
03:25without my authoritative badge oh and one more thing don't forget your mount seriously riding it makes
03:32a huge difference in this instance it's the difference between chasing a boss and catching
03:37it all right so this spot right here you could call it the center of the map and honestly it
03:43would
03:43be amazing if the bosses just decided to hang out around here or in the little corridors that connect
03:49to it that would make life so much easier right but nope here's the annoying part there are two corridors
03:56that are just painful the first one it's a dead end you literally have to walk all the way in
04:02straight through to reach the end and then surprise you gotta turn around and walk all the way back
04:08out no loop no shortcut just backtracking and the second one that's the entrance but guess what it's
04:16a super long hallway and there's only one way back to the center so if a boss spawns all the
04:22way in
04:22there tough luck you run in kill it and then you have to retrace your entire path just to get
04:28back to
04:29where you started it's like the map was designed to waste your time i swear every second spent walking
04:36those corridors is a second you're not killing bosses and with that timer ticking down yeah not fun oh hey
04:44quick correction before i forget i've been saying bosses this whole time but uh yeah they're actually elites
04:51my bad guys total slip up on my part but honestly they feel like bosses with how annoying they're to
04:59chase down the one nice thing though they're not hard to find these elites have this really obvious aura
05:06glowing around them so you can spot them even from a distance and if you glance at your mini map
05:12which
05:13let's be real you should be doing every few seconds they show up as white skull icons super distinct no
05:20confusing them with regular mobs or anything so visually easy mode the game basically hands you
05:27their location on a silver platter but here's the catch and you know there's always a catch seeing
05:33them and reaching them are two very different things you could have them marked on your map clear as day
05:38but if they're stuck at the end of one of those ridiculous long corridors i was just complaining about
05:43good luck you're gonna waste half your timer just getting there and back so yeah spotting them is
05:50easy catching them that's where the real struggle begins anyway just wanted to clear that up so you're
05:56not confused when i keep saying elites from here on out my brain is fried from running this event so
06:03many
06:03times all right let's talk about rewards because i know that's what everyone really cares about right so
06:10yeah completing this event gives you some pretty nice quest rewards nothing to complain about there
06:16but honestly what i'm really after is the experience these monsters give and let me tell
06:22you the xp here is no joke it's actually impressive way too good to ignore i mean sure
06:29the quest rewards are cool and all but if you're looking to level up fast this is the spot the
06:35monsters
06:35just keep coming and every kill adds up it's like an xp farm disguised as an event now i did
06:43try
06:43something earlier i activated the field combat experience multiplier thinking hey if the base xp is
06:50already this good imagine it with a boost but uh yeah sorry to disappoint but it doesn't work here
06:57tried it tested it got nothing so don't waste your consumables on that trust me save them for somewhere
07:04else where they actually matter so yeah bottom line the xp alone makes this event worth running
